This company contacted me numerous times warning me that my car's warranty was about to expire, and I needed to renew it with them. They were able to provide me with my car's make, model, year and what the odometer read at the time I purchased my car so I thought they were legitimate and finally gave into their threats that my warranty was about to expire. I gave them my credit card information on 8/16/22. They sent me documentation stating that I would owe them 24 payments of $135.79 and that payments would be due 9/3/22. (Totaling $3,260). I told my daughter (who is my conservator and handles my finances) and she informed me that my car warranty was nowhere near it's expiration. I have been trying to contact the company nonstop on all 3 of their numbers listed in the documentation they sent me. The numbers 1800-664-1825 and 1-844-999-9658 go to people that tell me they only handle claims and that I need to call the company at 1-855-460-9100 to cancel the contract. That number just rings forever, not being answered or going to a machine. I have since canceled the credit card I have given them and as far as I've been able to tell, have yet to be charged. This is absolutely a car warranty scam.

Autobanc did cancel the contract before I (***** *** ********) was
charged. However, in order to accomplish this my daughter had to go to
extra lengths. Autobanc was not answering their phone line and did not
have an answering machine. We called multiple times over the course of
time and it would continue to go unanswered. My daughter finally had to
look up the managers of Autobanc on the Ohio Secretary of State page to
find their business filings. Under those business filings she found the VP
of claims administration, **** Indhal. She was able to locate Mr. Indhal's
Facebook profile and messaged him on Facebook messenger. He wrote back
that someone would contact me to cancel the service. Someone then
contacted me and I was able to cancel. Having to go to such lengths to
contact Autobanc should not be necessary.

And I assure you I was induced into signing up with Autobanc only after
they represented to me that my current warranty was about to expire and
that I would be left without coverage. Which was not true. I was led to
believe that they were the original company that first issued the warranty.
      Which was also not true.
