When I purchased my car from a VW dealership in 2020, I purchase a tire warranty service. The warranty service is supposed to reimbursed for any tire related issues for the 1st 5 years of owning the car. On Friday, June 28th 2024, I was driving when a tire blowout was experienced on the highway. AAA was called and the donut was placed on the car. After calling multiple NJ-based VW dealerships, none of them had the tire in stock and wouldnt get the tire until Monday, July 1st. I was very uncomfortable driving the car so ***** Tire Shop was contacted and they guaranteed the tire would be available by 1:30pm on Friday, June 28th. The tire was replaced. I reached out to Renascent Protection Solutions, LLC (who was the initial owner of the tire protection warranty) and they stated that they no longer administrators for your contract. I was then referred to Dimension Service Corporation. I resubmitted all the required information and paperwork for reimbursement and was told my claim was approved on July 16th. After not receiving the reimbursement check for a month, I follow up with Dimension Service Corporation who stated they would resend another check since the 1st one hadn't arrived. It is now August 23rd and the 2nd check still hasn't arrived. I was told that if I didn't arrive by August 30th, they would resend the check again. I do not believe this business has any intention of reimbursing me for the tire ($214.78) even though my warranty doesn't expire until August 2025.Business response

Dimension Service Corporation received the documents for ********************** tire claim on August 6, 2024. Her check is set to be printed and mailed out by the end of the week. We do a monthly check run for all reimbursements.

I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint.I would recommend that the Claims Administrator ***** be reminded of the check shipping schedule (monthly vs. weekly) so the correct information can be communicated to avoid unnecessary follow-up from consumers.

AC Compressor failed, causing damage to other components of the AC system and requiring them to be replaced. Warranty company refuses to cover the replacement of the other components. This all due to the AC Compressor failing. All parts and labor should be covered under this after market warranty.Business response

Dear ****** *****:
Review of our claim file annotations along with follow-up with the repair facility, J&S Automotive, which
reports that the air conditioning compressor has failed. They further report the request to replace the
following air conditioning components: condenser and expansion valve to protect against future failure.
Regrettably, the vehicle service contract does not provide coverage for future damage. Furthermore, a
breakdown is defined as follows:
Breakdown: means the inability or failure of a covered part to perform the function for which it was
intended by the manufacturer, as a result of the normal use of your vehicle.
Our decision to only authorize the replacement of the air conditioning compressor is based on the
diagnosis reported by J&S Automotive. Our team has informed J&S Automotive that if they obtain
authorization from the contract holder for further diagnosis and disassembly and find a failure of the
condenser and expansion valve and this can be confirmed with an independent mechanical inspector, we
will consider the additional repairs. However, if failure is not demonstrated, the expense for further
diagnosis and disassembly would be the responsibility of the contract holder.

I am rejecting this response because:
I disagree! Due to the Ac compressor failing it affected the remaking Ac components, causing the items to not operate to the specifications of the auto maker, the warranty company has approved the cost to replace the compressor with a remanufacture one! Industrie standard when an ac compressor gos out the whole ac system which comes on a kit! Should used compressor be installed only no warranty stands with the manufacturer! All cost should be covered as the quote attached for the Ac system! Which means the consumer is screwed! Un acceptable!

I have a Maserati with under ****** miles. *** engine assembly needed replaced and I immediately filed a claim with my warranty company, Dimension. Initially, they were fine to work with, although slow to respond. At the time of approval for the engine replacement, the claim amounts for the engine only approved went from $14,999 down to about $7,000. After sending the Maserati dealership three subpar engine options, all of which they refused as it would compromise the vehicle, the Maserati Dealership found a suitable engine and sent in to Dimension for approval. *** assumption was that, at the very least, the company would stick to the highest approved amount of $14,999. *** engine that was appropriate for the vehicle to remain safe, and fit all aspects is $16,999. Dimension has failed to stick to the original amount they provided in writing and have communicated terribly with both the mechanic and myself. On the phone with a representative he said, "My boss got the third one and said thats it, I am not doing any more, I am not going back and forth with this anymore." This leads me to believe he is taking this warranty personal and not taking care of it as a business transaction and following through with the authorization that was already provided in writing. ***re is no limit on the number of authorizations one can and should provide to best meet the standards of the vehicle and replacement parts. I would also like to note the legal issues they are opening themselves to by their insistence we accept a motor that is not made for the vehicle in question. He has suggested using one form a different year car, a different trim level etc. If these were installed into my vehicle, and an engine failure occured while driving and caused an accident, are they going to be comfortable with that?Business response

I recently purchased an automobile warranty and I need a new engine because my engine light came on and I immediately took it to the Nissan dealership. Dimensions is saying that the occurrence was pre-existing and they won't pay for it. I purchased the warranty in April. And this just happened in June.Business response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our contract does not cover pre-existing conditions. The contract also stipulates that the coverage does not go into effect until after ***** miles and 30 days after the contract is signed.Initial Complaint

In 2017 **** ** ****** upgrade her car to a Chevy Sonic from Superior Chevrolet, Atlanta, Ga. A Car Warranty was purchased from Endurance, Suite 1800, 225 W, Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60606, 877-333-3018. After a year payment of the warranty was changed to the same Company in the State of Texas. Then I completely stop hearing or receiving any mail from Endurance. In the years 2020. 2021, 2022 I was bombarded with countless harassing calls about purchasing a warranty. I declined. But in 2022 since I did not hear from Endurance for years I decided to purchased a warranty from the caller from Dimension Service Corporation in April/May 2022. The Customers service representative was most insistent and Demanded an immediate $100.00 payment for the Warranty. Reluctantly I paid it over the telephone using a card. Imagine my surprise when I received a letter from MEPCO Suite 2310 10 South LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois 60603, congratulating me on the purchase of a service contract from AAP. Who the hell is MEPCO, and where did they get the information that I purchased a service contract from AAP. I did no such thing, I dont even know how they got into my business.. I looked on the internet for the Company AAP and the closest thing I came to was Auto Air Conditioning Equipment, 16388 Industrial Dr, Milford, VA 22514. I never spoke to nor am I interested in anyone from AAP.. No BBB I have no intention of entering any contract with Dimension or anyone else. This type of Bait and switch is not appreciated. Please retrieve and return my $100.00 I paid over the internet and tell all companies to cease contacting me. Thank you. Dont stand on principle and be petty about a signature. I would not have written this complaint is I was not serious and I wish you to attend to business immediately. ThanksBusiness response

I purchased a policy when I leased my car. When I surrendered my car I was told this company just took over the policies. That was in June. I have sent doc's three times and I have been told by *** ******* that it is in the que finally and that I should have a response in two weeks. That was over a month ago.
