The business entity made a deal to provide the service and promised 120 working days to find a job for me as a Business analyst. The agreement was signed on June 22, 2023, and December 15, 2023, marks the end of 120 days. When I contacted the account manager via phone in December 2023 when the 120 days had passed to discuss my concerns regarding the inefficient marketing, they persuaded me to stay with them and not to raise any refund requests. I had hope on them and I was a cooperative client. However, suddenly on April 18th, 2024, I received an email saying that my services would end on June 30, 2024, and I no longer be eligible for a refund after that. But as per the agreement, I'm eligible for a refund if the business fails to find me a job within 120 days. Also, as mentioned in the agreement I was supposed to receive 10 interviews per 30 working days, but till April 2024, I had not even received 22% of what they promised. while I've been trying to contact the account manager since April to discuss this matter, they're not responding to my calls and emails. Instead, they are assigning someone from the customer care team, who called me and informed me that I was not eligible for a refund. Moreover, they are trying to amend the agreement through email communications while it has already been mentioned in the agreement that it cannot be amended by email or phone communication. After a huge argument with the customer service representative, they told me they could only provide $500 as a refund when I'm eligible for more than a 75% refund as per the agreement terms. The company's failure to fulfill its contractual obligations and subsequent attempts to breach the agreement are unacceptable. This experience has caused significant stress and financial hardship on me. I am prepared to pursue all legal avenues available to recover the full amount owed. Dear BBB,
I am writing to follow up on my complaint against GetAJob (complaint reference number: ********, which I previously filed regarding their poor service and irresponsible business practices.
Unfortunately, the situation has escalated. While my complaint remains unresolved, I recently received an email from GetAJob on June 28, 2024, stating my services are terminated. This email completely ignores the issues I raised in my complaint.
Also, my attempts to reach GetAJob through their contact details have been unsuccessful. Calls go directly to voicemail, and emails remain unanswered. (For your reference, I have attached screenshots of my phone call attempts).
This is incredibly concerning, as I paid GetAJob a significant amount of hard-earned money for their services. I am requesting a refund due to their failure to deliver and lack of communication.
I appreciate the BBB's efforts to mediate this situation. However, due to GetAJob's unresponsive nature, I would be grateful for any additional assistance you can offer in retrieving my rightful refund.

Greetings, I am ********* ***********, a recent graduate. Several months ago, I was approached by GETAJOB sales recruiters who told me to offer assistance with my job applications, resume, interview preparation, marketing, and improve my overall chances in securing interviews. They also forced me to include fake experience on my resume to generate more interview calls. Initially, i was hesitant but they showed proofs of many people who got interview calls based on same approach. On May 30th, 2023, I received a call from GETAJOB informing me of price increase in their service plans. They told me that the plan I was interested in would rise to $15,000 from June 1st but offers would be same if I joined immediately, which was 5500 dollars. I even told them i dont have 5500 dollars to join immediately, but they told me to pay in two different installments. With no other option left and the pressure from their getajob team side, I paid $2,500 upfront. They tormented me till i join. After i joined the services promised were never delivered upon joining, and I have not received a single interview opportunity as assured. I tried contacting them but there was no response from their end. Furthermore, they are now denying they never promised me interview calls. I was desperate to get my refund, i tried many days calling them and emailing them. But there was no good response at all. I need help to get back my money, since i paid from credit card. i Need to pay it back. I will further proceed with court in any case if i dont receive any response.Business response

I have received a response from get a job. They are saying they gonna refund amount after deducting $500. I dont know they are deducting it. if they have provided me atleast some good service i would be accepting it but im not gonna accept it. Please revise it.

The business entity made a deal for providing services with 90 days, firstly they couldn’t fulfill that and secondly they themselves dis-enrolled me for the services for which i paid 10,000$ usd. They charged me money saying they provided services but in reality they never did and secondly they wouldnt even discuss why they are dis-enrolling me and secondly they wouldnt even pick my calls or text messages or emails when i was constantly trying to reach them for carry on and provide me services. As you see from the attachments the company has lied and given false information about helping me according to the contract stated, but they were never able to fulfill anything from the stated on the contract signed. Another thing they just ghosted and would never pick calls or responds to my email or messages, which as a customer I am entitled to in USA.
I am entitled to full refund because they weren't able to fulfill the contract. They cannot deduct money for false stating that they helped me in way. A customer in USA is entitled to full money if the services weren't provided. I don't why they are saying they helped me and deducted money, because as provided proof they weren't even able to help me as what they stated in the contract.
I am still calling and trying to reach company till today but they still ghost me, avoid my calls and never get back to my missed calls/messages/emails.

My name is ***** *****. I enrolled in Get-a-Job's placement program in March 2023. During my initial calls with my sales supervisor, Mr. ****** *****, I was told that with this placement program, I will be landing a job in 90 days and will be getting 15-20 interviews per month for the next three months after my marketing starts. My marketing career started in mid-May 2023, after my graduation. From then until September 2023, I just gave one interview. I was completely frustrated with this situation and talked with my personal recruiter, Mr. ******** ******** again and again about the same thing. I even contacted my sales supervisors, ****** and *****, for the same, but nothing changed. Everyone kept telling me it's due to a bad market, which is completely understandable, but after almost 5 months, just one complete interview was unacceptable. I have attached screenshots from my WhatsApp chats for the same. At last, after months of struggle and completely losing hope, I requested a refund. As a result, my services from geta-job's side ended in September without even notifying me, stating that "I WAS NOT A TECHNICALLY STABLE CANDIDATE". I was told that the total number of interviews I gave was more than 20, which never happened. I called the marketing team and technical team to provide me with all the details of these 20 imaginary interviews. I tried a number of times but got no response. My Google Voice number, which I used until now for my job marketing, was taken down; my marketing email, which has all the information, was taken down; and I was left with nothing. Finally, after waiting patiently for 8–10 days, they provided me with an excel sheet with fake entries. When I argued that all these interviews never happened, I received a call from some of the officials from the company stating that I would receive $5,490 as a refund from the $10,000 initial upfront payment that I deposited with the company. Honestly, I was so frustrated at this point that I accepted this amount, hoping that something was better than nothing. Immediately after that, from the next day onwards, I tried to reach out to the higher management for the same, but there were no responses. I wanted to ask why I was being charged $4510 and being refunded only $5490. Here, I was on the losing end because I paid the entire sum of $10,000, didn't get a job as promised, and also lost almost half of my amount. I'm seriously very upset with the company's service and would like to have a full refund from the company. So, out of 10,000, I have already received $5490, which leaves $4510, and I request that you guys take immediate action on this. I'm also providing a screenshot from my agreement with GetAJob, which states all the information. I am highlighting all of my concerns here and hoping for a quick response. 1: Firstly, get a job and be charged an $850 training fee, which is nowhere mentioned in the agreement. 2. No one shared with me any exit policies during my term with GetAJob or in the beginning. 3. Delayed marketing process, which cost me 5 months 4. Finally, after investing all those months and waiting patiently, I am still without a job. Results were not as promised during the enrollment.Business response

My complaint is not solved yet. I just want to tell BBB that last week I received $3000 as a dispute refund from my bank. I did file a chargeback before contacting BBB, but my bank was not ready to file the case, but somehow I managed to convince them to do so afterward. I even contacted the business via email because I wanted to have our last mutual communication and end this matter in such a way that both parties wouldn't be affected. However, I never received any response from them. So, I'm still looking for their fruitful response in this matter.Business response

This organization lures fresh graduates to bind them into contracts to get them a job and giving fake experience and references to the employers without students/customer consent and then start extorting money after the student has joined a job stating they will tell the employer that it was fake experience that they have provided from there end and all those fake experiences are from their end. At first, I paid $1000 on January 18th, 2023 for Dash Technologies as an enrollment fee for their GetAJob program to prepare a resume, and marketing for job placement as DevOps Engineer. They sent me an agreement to sign with "N/A" in the option where it was supposed to be a "90" days job guarantee. I asked them why there is "N/A" instead of number 90 they replied that I have not paid in full and that once I make full payment, they would correct that intentionally placed error. The total amount I had to pay was $5000, and the career advisor kept pushing me to pay and told me that they cannot start marketing for a job search unless I pay everything. I paid the rest of the $4000 on January 25th. But they did not make corrections to the agreement. They assigned me to a marketing agent who worked hard but did not have much idea about technology. As the process went along, I was not getting any interviews as they promised. I kept trying to contact them but no one was being responsible for a client like me. All of a sudden, one of the agents from accounting told me that they are refunding money for all candidates due to the current market situation after the Silicon Valley Bank downturn. However, they did not process the refund instead they disappeared and no one received my phone call. On April 14th, 2023, one of the customer representatives wrote to me informing me that they have processed the refund of $4000 and deducted $1000 as a service charge. The service charge for what? No service is provided to me and they were claiming the service fee which is not acceptable. I wrote them back twice but they are not responding to my email.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
They have made 20% deduction for doing nothing. They made waste of my three months time. They declared that they could not provide the service they promised and suddenly alienated me from their contacts. The amount they deducted was 20% which means $1000.00. And $1000.00 is a big money for a working class people like me. Why should I pay that big amount of money for someone with no reason? Therefore, I would like to reject the response from the business.

I am rejecting this response because: I don't want them to eat up my hardley earned $1000.00 for doing nothing. If it is that easy to earn money everyone in US would do the consultancy business, ask poor candidates to pay $5000.00 and let them go away in the middle of the way for some stupid reason makeing rufund only 80%. I am not only one ******** ****, there may be hundreds of poor candidates like me whom they have made to leave paying 1000 for doing nothing. Thank you.

The enrollment fee of $500 was initiated on June 29th, 2022, for the Dash Technology in it’s GetAJob program to prepare resume, marketing for job placement as Scrum Master. As the process went along, I was not getting as much interview as promised, the marketing agent recommendation switching technology from scrum to Business Analysis. I refused switching and demanded a refund. He persuaded me to give them a second chance, which I did, and requested we move on Cybersecurity Analyst role rather than Business analyst. After the switch, still did not feel like I was getting any job interviews. So, I told my enrollment agent I did not feel like this is working out and I want out of the program and demanded a refund. He requested I reach out to the support team, which I did and they assured me that they had begun the refund process and to wait 24 to 48 hours. A support agent later reached out that because of the marketing they did, I they could only issue a partial refund of $250, which I accepted to get the issue behind me. After a couple of months, I reached to inquire why it’s taking so long for the refund, they said they were going through some audit, and I should get the refund shortly after. On January 26, 2023, I reached out again and the same agent and the Account Manager who assured me I should be getting the money in 24 hours. As I write, I am still to get the refund, and no communication. Each time I call, all they say is give them 24 hours. As a result, it appears the business has shown a bad faith effort to resolve the problem.Business response

After that I came to know that I m not eligible for the job here when I ask them to refund my all amount without any deductions they are refusing to do so, this is a fraud. Dash Technologies, Inc. contacted me in December 2021 with an offer to help me find a job in exchange for 15% of my first year's annual salary. They initially required me to pay $5,000 as a "deposit," but when I told them I was not interested, they called me approximately 25 times in 2-3 days to persuade me and revised the deposit to $500. I eventually succumbed to the relentless pressure and agreed to join their geta-job program by paying the $500 deposit. However, just a few days after I paid the deposit, I received a job that I had applied for previously by myself. So, I asked the representative to withdraw me from the program and refund my $500 deposit. But the Dash Technologies, Inc. representative informed me they would keep my deposit for future job search help (if and when I need help). After this series of events, I contacted them again in May 2022 to inform them that I had secured a permanent role with a company I liked and would not need their help in the future. Since I received no services from them and do not foresee needing any help in the future, I requested a complete withdrawal from the program and a full refund. Unfortunately, the representative has been evading my requests for a refund for almost six months now. I have contacted Dash Technologies Inc. numerous times between May 2022 & October 2022 to request expedited processing and refund my initial deposit amount. The only answer I get is, "Someone from Dash Technologies will contact you soon to issue your refund." and then I receive no calls from Dash Technologies. After months of evasion, misrepresentation, and numerous broken, "we will call you and issue a refund" promises later, I do not have a choice but to file a complaint with BBB in hopes of resolving my issue with Dash Technologies, Inc.Business response

Besides, as mentioned in my emails, I struggle in the interview because the resume they provide is not factual. The interview has been embarrassing for me, and I do not feel good to get a job and receive a salary when my employer expects a set of skills that I do not actually have because this is a fraud.
