I hired Gutter Masters ( **** *** ) to fix a water issue in my rental property basement. **** told me that I needed a perimeter drain tile & sump pump in the basement & downspout extended to the street for $6,000. **** guaranteed me several times that this would solve the issue. In April 2021 approx 4/5 guys started the job. A few days later we sent to check out the work again. My husband turned on the reset button for the sump pump and water can from the pipe that was installed going outside. Also there was muddy water in the floor drain. He said the water would receed and he sent the guys back out to look at the pipe. The pipe was never connected. The next week there was still water in the drain and the floor was wet. **** came out, he said the problem was I needed the main drain pipe replaced and he referred me to his friend Evan. At this point I was upset that I still had a water issue and I told him I felt like I was scamed He was angry with me. Evan came out, he said eventually the main pipe would need to be replaced and **** would call me this evening. **** never called so I called him the next week. He said he would have someone there Friday to cap the floor drain. Nobody showed up and **** stopped responding to my calls and emails. I hired another company to replace the main drain and joining pipes. The guy ask me who put the drain in and said that wasn't a perimeter drain. He showed me what Gutter Master did/didn't do as he dug up around the so called perimeter drain to replace the main pipe. He showed me pictures of what they should have done. The drain pipes were clogged because of the cement that was left in there from Gutter Masters. I called 2 other companies and was told the perimeter drain was not done properly. There is also water coming down the wall to the floor which it states in the paperwork that Gutter Matters in responsible for. I have pictures/videos but don't know how to send them.Business response

We were waiting for Mrs. ***** to call us to schedule the service that needed to be done, she had a third party call us, and we sent out a plumber to look at a separate issue that she had. We are more than willing to fix any issues, but there has been no contact from the homeowner to schedule the service that needs to be performed. If we need to redo the project we are more than willing to, but we need to schedule that service.Customer response
