      I had an appointment on 9-23-2024 from 8:00 to 8:30 am. At 8;49 I called and I was told I was next. At 9:25 I called back and then I was told someone changed my appointment time to 11:00. They didn't even call me to ask me if that was acceptable. I've been a customer for many years and when I ask about a discount on my next contract they're not sure they can do that. Well if I don't see a change because of this I will contact someone else for my summer and winter checks and cleanings. The next furnace and A C unit will also be bought somewhere else.

      We had an appointment scheduled with Geisel on 4/16/24. They were supposed to arrive between 3:00-5:00 p.m. At 5:00 no one had come or called. I then called them to get an update. The person I spoke to knew nothing about our appointment and said someone would call me back, but no one ever did. Between 5:00 and about 6:30 I called two more times. Each time I was told by the person that answered that they would have someone call me back. No one ever did. Around 6:30 the staff person showed up. He ran a camera down our main line and said it was clear, so that was not the reason for our issue. He said the next step would be to run the camera down the vent stack, which he said he didn’t know how to do. He said he would upload the video from the main line and that someone would call me the next morning (4/17) to discuss pricing and scheduling. I never received that call on 4/17. I eventually called them at 3:00 pm that day. The person I spoke to said she would have someone call me back by the end of the day. No one ever did. I called again today (4/18). The person I spoke to said, “let me see if anyone knows anything about this”. She put me on hold but never came back to the phone. Instead, I got put through to a line that just rang and rang. Save your time and don’t bother with these guys. It’s too bad because they used to be a good company.

      Had acute water drainage and damage in ceiling of diningroom Assuming from bathroom above diningroom. From the shower. Homeserve insurance dispatched Geisel to evaluate. They evaluated pipe area and shower. They identified cracks in grout. I knew this was not the cause of this water leakage. It was too much. They never turned shower heads on. They said find someone to regroup and seal. They never turned the water on!!! Stupid I called another plumbing company who troubleshooted the problem. It was a faulty shower head cartridge. It was clear to me that Geisel wanted to evaluate and diagnose the problem as quickly as possible and leave. I won’t use them again They really don’t seem to want to work. Had them out before and I really couldn’t remember the situation but again I remember thinking they were not helpful. I have asked Homeserve not to dispatch them but it must be an automatic trigger for them. Now I will put in my contacts under Geisel “don’t hire”. I did leave a review on Geisel website but they never have responded. Therefore this is the next step. I also complained to Homeserve.

      I called Geisel out as my breaker flipped twice on heat pump. They sent out a tech. He said it was my breaker box and heat pump system fine. Called electrician and he said breaker was fine and electric was not an issue. He asked if the geisal tech even looked at unit as he was checking electric on it and found bees nest in electric. Showed me. So, I paided for electrian I didnt need. Called Geisal back asked for another tech. The tech came out was great found the problem. Called office as I didnt think it was fair I paid for other tech would didnt find problem. They said they would only charge me for part. They said part was $287. I ran the part and found online $60 dollars. Not honest. I asked tech about it and he said that was the mark up. So, basically they wanted to charge me for everything and called it tge cost of the part.

      I had issues with my toilet , I called **** ***** and they sent Geisel plumbing,cooling and heating service. The moment the repairman got to my home they addressed the problem right away. The repairman was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. The problems I was having was taken care right away. I am glad that I have HomeServe service.

      Rick was very informative after checking both my furnace & a/c, he explained & and answered all my questions & gave me options for future services if & when I decided to go ahead with them. He relieved my anxiety about any damage to my unit caused by the storm and I am very appreciative. Pat J. 8-28-23

      I would not use this company. They put a HVAC system in our home and used the wrong wiring causing many issues. They claimed it was a faulty thermostat. Had to bring in another company to fix what they should have done. Called numerous times and they would not answer my calls. Currently in small claims court with them.

      I had a service call this month for issues with my inducer motor the tech replaced a Capacitor on the blower motor that wasn't broke and charged me 100$ for a part that cost about 10$ he said the inducer motor would cost 800$ that you can buy for less than 200$ So it cost me 192$ for service I didn't need I canceled any further service Byers beware seniors beware

      We were dispatched to this customers home with the complaint of the furnace blower motor having a hard time starting and making a weird noise when it does kick on. Our notes indicate that the dispatcher quoted the homeowner $95.00 for the diagnosis and anything additional would be quoted before any work was done. Upon arrival and diagnosis our technician found that the capacitor was out of range causing a high amp draw. At that same time the customer was told that he inducer as well would need to be replaced and was given a verbal rough estimate, that was approved by the customer. The tech ordered the inducer and when it was received at our shop, our office called to schedule the repair. It was at that time the repair was denied and cancelled by the homeowner. I feel that the fees that we charge are appropriate as they cover the cost of parts, materials, labor and come with a warranty. Also included within this fee is the experience, training and knowledge of this technician to trouble shoot and diagnose the entire unit as often times the issue (reason for the service call) is not always obvious.
