The services were spot on! Seth took his time explaining what was going on with my 22-year-old furnace, which is still running well. It needs some work, but I feel confident I can't go through the winter with just one repair. I won't have to replace the whole furnace, but I will have to consider it for 2026! My furnace wouldn't kick on so I called them for an inspection. The 1st technician didn't have a clue what to do and kept calling a 2nd technician for help. The 2nd tech came out and misdiagnosed the problem. The 1st tech was 2 hours late showing up and spent 4.5 hours and the 2nd tech spent 1.5 hours and between the two of them they accomplished NOTHING. I got billed $187. The next day a 3rd tech came out and found the problem but had to order parts. 5 days later the 3rd tech installed the parts to fix the problem. Over $1000 later I had heat. I will NEVER use them again. and I will tell anybody that will listen to not use them either.Thomas & Galbraith Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Response

Diagnosing system issues, especially with equipment we didnt install or maintain, can sometimes be challenging. Our technicians often consult with one another to ensure we explore all potential solutions thoroughly. This collaboration takes time, but it is intended to provide the most accurate assessment and best course of action for repairs.
During the first visit, the inspection was limited by nightfall visibility, which impacted the ability to fully diagnose the issue. However, we were able to replace a fuse, leaving your system operational and your home with heat that evening. The diagnostic charge of $187 was for this initial work, which was discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.
Once the full issue was identified, the necessary part had to be ordered. We expedited shipping to minimize delays, but as part delivery is outside of our direct control, we worked as quickly as possible to resolve the issue once the part arrived. The cost of the final repair was reviewed and approved before we completed the installation.
We regret that this process was longer than anticipated, but we are glad we could ultimately restore heat to your home. ZERO STARS! Company is completely unresponsive to client issues. Beware, they can't even install standard plumbing from scratch in a gutted bathroom. When I pointed out that the plumbing was installed incorrectly, they told me I was wrong and lied to me for over 6 weeks until they realized they couldn't install the hardware because the plumbing was installed incorrectly. This company doesn't return phone calls. Their supervisors ghost you. I WOULD RUN NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! I am only writing this to warn other potential clients NOT to use Thomas & Galbraith. to be honest, the problem was not the tile job. The problem was that your plumbers installed the regulator 4 inches away from the faucet, thus making it impossible to install any hardware as your technician found out on the sixth time he came out to the house. You pride yourself on doing a professional job to building code and this was anything but. Continue to deflect and make it my problem rather than the fact that you hired incompetent plumbers with poor supervision. Your idea of addressing my concerns was sending multiple people out to my house only to tell me that it look great and the best job anybody has ever seen. You gaslight and deflect from what was obvious and incorrect install and then you double down on it, shame on you for trying to blame a homeowner when the problem was entirely the installation.Review from Marci J

I had a service call today. When he came in he did everything on a "checklist" to asses the problem. But everything was coming back as working fine. He seem flustered/confused. He made multiple phone calls asking "Bob" for help on figuring out what the problem could be. He then proceed to take the unit a part and check the flam tray and wiring. He stated the wire was a little burnt and then wrapped it in electrical tape and started putting everything bad together. He struggled to get a piece back on and started to bang it into place. We he put all the screws back on he turned the unit back on and now it is making a lot screeching noise. He immediately said I've got to run out to my truck real quick. Came back and gave me a 1200+ quote for the piece the he banged into place and said this needs replaced. I was ******. He caused an issue that wasn't even broken before he took it apart. He also told me duke needed to come out immediately and check my gas because it was set manufacturing too high, after he ran out of here duke came and said he didnt know what he was talking about that my gas was fine. They looked at the unit and said, this guy didnt know what he was talking about /doing, loose bolts and giving misinformation, he was trying to get out of here fast, He seem as through he didn't know what to do, confused on what he did. I paid the initial 100 for the inspection fee. I am not happy with my service at all! I am having another inspection done Monday to fix whatever more damage was do on top of what the initial problem was. **** ****** and another technician i have coming Monday both said please never call thomas and galbraith again! They don't hire guys who know what their doing. They both knew about their horrible technicians and services! Please learn from me and go somewhere else. They came out quickly to assess an emergency, gave me several options including quick fixes and more permanent solutions, and were able to schedule the work for the next day.
