I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP!!! So, we found a vehicle that we liked on the website. After missing a couple other deals at other dealerships, we decided that we would pull the trigger on this deal sight unseen. We called and spoke with Salesperson Eric M**** *** He confirmed availability, we worked out a deal and he emailed over the purchase agreement. We immediately sent the info to our finance person at our credit union and went to pick up the check. After leaving to go to the dealership to pick up our new vehicle, we received a text from the sales manager stating that another customer was out test driving the vehicle. That was then followed by another text a few minutes later stating that our vehicle had been sold. The situation was absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional. We were very disappointed to say the least.Review from Fred E

I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS DEALERSHIP SINCE 2017. I LEASED 3 CARS AND I JUST BOUGHT MY 2024 ** ** I PURCHASED A 2024 HONDA ** * ON 1/31/2023 FROM PERFORMANCE HONDA IN FAIRFIELD, OHIO. I ASKED ABOUT FINANCING, I WAS QUOTED A 5 YEAR @ 4.9% LOAN SO I SIGNED UP FOR IT. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THEM SINCE 2017. ON 2/9/2024, I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM **** PERFORMANCE (BELONGS TO THE SAME GROUP AS PERFORMANCE HONDA FAIRFIELD) ABOUT PURCHASING A HONDA ** * WITH 0% FOR 36 MONTHS. WHEN I QUESTIONED A MANAGER AT FAIRFIELD PERFORMANCE HONDA, WHY I WAS NOT INFORMED ABOUT THIS. I THINK THEY KNOW THESE CAMPAIGNS BEFORE THEY ARE ADVERTISED. HE SAID THEY PROBABLY ADD THE INTEREST TO THE COST OF THE CAR BEFORE THEY SELL IT TO ME. THIS TO ME THIS SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM, WHICH IS VERY HARD FOR ME TO ACCEPT KNOWING THIS REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP. IT IS A SHAME THAT THIS HAPPENS. I KNOW MR. MIKE D***** WILL NOT BE HAPPY IF HE EVER KNOW ABOUT THIS. I AM NOT SURE IF ANYONE AT THE DEALERSHIP READS THESE COMMENTS. *************************************************************************************************************************** TODAY 2/14/2024 I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO PICKUP MY SECOND KEY. IT WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME. I WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT SO THEY CAN PROGRAM THE KEY. I MADE THE APPOINTMENT AND I ARRIVED AT 10:05 FOR MY 10:00 APPOINTMENT. AT 10:24 I RECEIVED, A TEXT ABOUT THE CAR IS IN SERVICE. AT 11:05, I RECEIVED A TEXT SAYING THEY ARE UNABLE TO MAKE THE SECOND KEY, SINCE THEY DO NOT HAVE IT. WHY DID THEY NOT INFORMED EARLIER? I CHANGED MY SCHEDULE TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THE SECOND KEY, IN CASE SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THE FIRST KEY. SOMETHING IS WRONG AT THAT DEALERSHIP AND IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESED? DOES ANYONE PUTS ANY EFFORT OF ADDRESSING ISSUES? DO THEY EVER READ COMMENTS THAT I AND OTHER CLIENTS SEND THEM? SAD, SAD SITUATION!Review from Jozey W

We purchased a vehicle 3 months ago. Salesman said it was certified. We had 3 issues with the car in less than three months. Only to be told the car is not certified, and Service was not going to pay. Our salesman ended up covering the cars issues. But said once it’s off the lot, they can’t do anymore work for “free”. The technician did a basic courtesy inspection after bringing the vehicle back. (They didn’t detail or do ann original inspection before purchasing) and claimed the vehicle was fine. After two weeks they concluded that the battery was 2xx/410 cranking amps. They wouldn’t replace the battery. They only charged it. We went through multiple managers and service managers. The sales associate then said we could get a different car because the extremity of the issues. Only to be told, we have to get a brand new car, that cost way more. And would raise the payment from the current vehicle. Then we were told she couldn’t. A couple of the service managers were very rude. There was no communication between sales and service. They also originally wouldn’t supply us a rental. That was another issue we faced. I WOULD NOT recommend this place if you’re look for a shop or a new car. They also will push a warranty on you (MULTIPLE TIMES) during the sale.Review from Barb K

Drove car on 4/9. Purchased 4/10. ABSOLUTELY felt like we were being railroaded into a warranty and GAP program. Was NOT told that this was included in the sale price of the car. This car had come in a as a trade in, not inspected, not detailed. Agreed if issues contract would be canceled. Salespersons off next day but he put in work order that would be completed on Wednesday and we would be able to pick up. Waited Wednesday, called, waited, called, waited. Nothing. And I hate put on my plans on hold to wait to be told I could pick up the car. Let's just say this was a HUGE inconvenience for my family to not have this car. Call on Thursday ( mind you 4 days after we purchased the car) and we could pick it up that afternoon as it hadn't even been serviced yet!!!! Had a family member drive me out there when we were told okay you can come get it. Sales person was not there. It took over an hour and a half for them to a) locate the car (which was still being detailed), b) find the key, c) find the trade in to get the plates off of it. I get in the car, EMPTY GAS TANK, and it was STILL not finished being detailed. Went back and asked for manager. Explained the situation. He did offer to fill the tank ( I think that is what he was saying) at this point I was late for an appt and didn't have time to wait for them ( cause who knew how long it was going to take) And I explained that it was not a detail job to my satisfaction. I asked for next oil change to be comped and he said all he could do was offer a car wash! And I asked for the service report on the car and was told they couldn't get it. Worked with finance gentleman and he was very helpful and able to get it and did other things for me. A few suggestions, don't sell a car that has not been inspected, sales should not promise things that service has to perform, have a computer system where all cars and buyers are listed so entire staff is aware, CUSTOMER SERVICE Will NOT PURCHASE from here!!!!Review from James C

"Hello, I would not recommend this car dealer. My experience trying to buy a car from them was very disappointing. The staff was unsympathetic and seemed disinterested in making a sale. The customer service was poor, and the salespeople lacked empathy. I strongly suggest considering the dealership next door instead."Review from NICOLE R

We leased a new ridgeline from them. Sales process went smooth but not the finance end. The finance person tried to sell us products that we didn't want. He offered just wheel and tire at a discount. I agreed. He then said he'd throw in the windshield at no cost. I begrudgingly agreed. He then flew through the paperwork especially the contract, I stopped to see the itemization of the cap cost but unfortunately there was not one listed until the next page. Then I see that I am being charged $3800 for the wheel and tire plan that should be $1400 and he said it was because of the windshield that he threw in. I protested and told him I wanted everything cancelled and he said that he could not do that as the contract was submitted. I know that is a lie. He said he'd have to call in the morning to see if the bank will cancel it. He then offered for me to cancel the products and have it credited to my lease. I agreed to that and came back 3 weeks later to cancel once I received my Honda acct number. He played dumb again and said he didn't know how to dot it. I'm running out of room so long story short he refused to complete the cancellation of the products and I had to contact the company to cancel myself only to find out the windshield plan isn't cancelable. I'm still waiting on my credit to my lease but the product company said it would be handled. Management was even involved and still we had to resolve it ourselves. What was supposed to be a happy experience turned into a utter nightmare. I will NEVER recommend anyone to come to this dealership. Side note he also added key and dent protection without my knowledge at all!!! Very Unprofessional!Review from Brian H

Do not buy from Performance Honda! I purchased a 2023 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid on 2/16/23. I had a search set up on ********** for this configuration, and I got an email on 2/16/23 that one was in transit to Performance Honda. I contacted the dealership to see if it was sold, and they said it was not, and it was getting unloaded from the truck as we spoke. I immediately went over to the dealership, looked at the vehicle, and knowing there is a shortage of cars in the market, I didn’t even ask to negotiate, I said I would take the vehicle for MSRP. The salesman comes over and gives me the numbers of the purchase price with all taxes and fees included, and I said looks good, let’s sign. I go in to sign the papers and the finance person tries to sell me an extended warranty, but I say I don’t want one, that is why I bought a Honda because they are reliable (more on that later). The finance person says the extended warranty comes with the vehicle for no more money than they had already quoted, but I know dealerships are starting to offer lifetime and extended warranties for free to get sales so we moved on (I just bought a truck from ****** ***** *** and they truly give a free lifetime warranty as long as you own your car). My problem came when I trusted the people working at the dealership that they weren’t lying to me, and that is a lesson learned. I had work appointments later in the day so I signed the paperwork without reading through all of the details thinking the dealership was honest. When I get home to add the vehicle to insurance I get out the paperwork to get the VIN, and I realize there is a $3,000 extended warranty on the car after I very specifically said I did not want one. I immediately call the dealership finance person and ask why it is on there. What the dealership did is include the extended warranty in the initial estimate for purchase price plus taxes and fees, they just put the warranty in without saying anything hoping I would miss it since IReview from Sherry S

The finance department’s math skills are at 2 nd grade level. This is probably an insult to Second graders. Check your paperwork. The taxes were not applied correctly so I had to pay out of pocket the state taxes in order to register my car. I was assured it was rolled into my loan.
