I purchased a $3500 13 1/2 week old Female French Bulldog puppy from Hilltop Acre Frenchies for a discounted price of $1800 on September 20, 2021. We met his wife at a park where we picked up the puppy.
I was told the puppy was discounted due to a “tinkling” problem, but in good health. When asking more about the tinkling issue it was explained as only a urine dripping here and there. Within 24 hours of having the puppy, we called Hilltop because there was blood in the urine. We were told this had never happened and was probably due to stress.
My puppy was under continuous vet care from September 2021 to March 13 2022 when she died. I have incurred over $6k in vet and emergency expenses because Hilltop was not transparent in disclosing the puppy’s health issues of having blood in her urine. Only when trying to resolve this issue did Hilltop reveal they knew blood in the urine was a known issue. If they had ever mentioned blood in the urine I would NOT have purchased the puppy, discount or not.
This has caused an unexpected and financial hardship but I am still willing to pay ALL the medical bill expenses. I simply want the purchase price of the puppy that I had less than 6 months as I would not have purchased with this known underlying health issues of blood in the urine.
We emailed ****** multiple times since the puppy passed trying to negotiate a refund, but at this time, he no longer responds to our calls and texts for assistance.

Hilltop Acre Frenchies,LLCMon, 25 Apr 2022, 09:10 pmUnfortunately the puppy was sold as is with no health guarantees
whatsoever. We had told him the pup had a tinkling problem which they
were fine with when they bought it. The pup had blood in it's urine when
she was still at a young age but had cleared up (to our knowledge) when
we sold it. Later after the pup died he told me that it didn't die
because or any kind of urinary problems. That it died because of low
white blood cells and low red blood cells which has nothing to do with
the whole urinary system.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: he is not honest with the facts of what happen and is not offering any type of compensation. I have accepted paying all medical cost associated with this situation which I think is a fair compromise. He should offer some sort of monetary compensation to resolve this matter as well.
