1.) My renter told me he had toilet paper coming out of an access pipe in the backyard. 2.) I called Fox Plumbing to have them go over and see what the problem was. 3.) *** (my renter) called and told me they would be over on Friday, Sept. 23, I said OK> The Friday they would be going was the day I was going to Tiffin to set up for t he flea market. They never told me what t he co** would be or what would have to be done, or when. They **arted. 4.) When we got done setting up in Tiffin, we **opped there on our way home to see what the problem was. They were already digging up a hold in my rental front yard when we got there. (*** S. ****** **) 5.) They told me that three roots were clogging the drain, so they had dug up the pipe to clean it out which they broke in the process and had to replace. 6.) I **ayed awhile with my husband *** to watch the process. They never told me they had been t here the day before with a camera which was part of the fir** bill they gave us. 7.) I didn't want to **ay any longer, so we gave *** a blank check (signed) to fill out to give them to pay for the job when they were done. 8.) *** called me later to let me know the check was for $1996.90 so I could enter it into my checkbook. 9.) Even though I thought the amount was crazy for one day, I was ok with it if it fixed the problem. 10.) I then went out and bought root killer to give renter, to use. 11.) When *** came to pay his October rent, he told me the problem was **ill there. **ill toilet paper in the backyard! 12.) I was mad and called a different company (******) to go see if they could figure it out, because all Fox had done was dig a hole and put another access pip in. 13.) ****** went out and I and my husband went over to talk to them. They showed me on their camera a settling of the pipes, in the area Fox had dug, where water was laying. They told me the camera line came up greasy and that *** had been pouring grease down the drain. 14.) They told me not enough water was going down to flush through this and that when *** (only person in the house) used the bathroom to turn on the faucet, etc. when he flushed to push more water through. 15.) So I told *** what they had told me. I asked him not to put grease down my kitchen drain and to use more water when he flushed! I had in**alled a new low water use efficient toilet shortly before he moved in thinking I was saving my renters on their water bill. 16.) So he did that (what ****** had told me) and the problem went away! 17.) Then I get another bill from Fox saying they had gone back over again & reused cameras!! 18.) This trip was not asked for by me (I had called ******). They didn't call me to tell me they were going over (**** ****** **.) They didn't ok it with me or anything. I am the one who pays the bills for that rental. I should have been notified of their plans (to give OK or not!!) 19.) I took the bill to Fox Plumbing, I showed them the previous bills showing I had already paid for their camera usage once, and that the second trip they claimed I owed them for hadn't been asked for or warranted. She took copies of my bills and check number and ripped up the new bill. There was a witness. 20.) Then I get another bill from them in December with finance charges added. Now they say I owe them $527.24. 21.) I don't think I should have to pay this. It's the principle of it. They weren't asked to go over again, because they didn't fix the problem the fir** $2000!! 22.) They keep calling my renter. He calls me! It has **ressed me out greatly because I always pay for what I get. What should I do?

I spoke to them on 2/3/22 and told them that I was going to credit the balance due. They owe us nothing. I did call them today and told them I was sorry for the misunder**anding and I thought they under**ood the balance was going to be credited.
