I paid $7500 for a roofing and siding job to my residence in preparation of selling my home. I contacted this company and 2 others and this company was adamant about taking this job and doing better than the competitors who were able to do the job at that moment. This company postponed for 2 months and declined a refund reciting our contractual agreement. The day before coming out to do the job the contractor provided a refund and declined to do the job leaving us unable to sell our house causing us significant loss of value.Business response

There was nothing on the contract stating when we was gonna start the job and before signing the contract I told the homeowner we was super busy and it would be at least a month or month in a half before we could arrive also weather permitting and the gentleman was fine with it…… Then I start getting text and voicemails around 3 weeks after the date he signed asking me where we was at and he needs job completed to sell house and he needs it started ASAP! We talked a few times and I told the homeowner he was next but we had a 45 sq siding job we was on right now and it would be around 2 weeks but that wasn’t good enough so L&S decided to give his money back to him in full……Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.
I reviewed the conversation upon signing the contract and was NOT told it would be a month out until after payment was made. I was okay with this until the contractor continued pushing the start date back. I have all communications security footage and text to match my complaint. Contractor declined to return money to allow another business to actually start and mentioned the contract but then later determined he was unable to do the job on short notice and dropped the job disregarding his own contact. Civil will be pursued.
