      Have been contacting Joby the owner of Hempy Construction for weeks have not been able to get them out and finish the job they were contracted to complete. Communication is very sporadic even though we have been messaging Joby at least twice per week just trying to get the rest of the items completed on our home renovation. We also had several items that should have been reimbursed and have not been. All we would like is for the work to be finished, wrong items corrected, and reimbursement for items that were damaged and or billed incorrectly.

      I think overall, Joby was nice and seemed reasonable, but he sent some unqualified contractors to our house. We had multiple issues with the work and my wife and I did negotiate the price down a bit for that. The minor issues were doors not aligning or closing properly, improper electric installed that we got someone to fix, hot and cold water lines on the wrong side, leaving a mess, calling the department of water to shut off the line because of a leak and not adhering to the timeline, not understanding what they were doing and Amanda figuring out a plan to complete the dryer hook up. Anyways, but the real issue was when the plumber moved the washer and dryer from the first floor to the basement, he capped the condensation line running from our A/C. So, when we started using the A/C in the summer, the line started spurting water. We had ***** ****** out to figure out what was wrong. They say it's a $700 fix, plus they want someone to move some electrical wires for when they fix the drain. I contacted Joby to see if he would fix the problem that his plumber created. He said he contacted the plumber, he suggested July 12th to have the plumber look at the work. However, I sent 3 emails and haven't heard from him in 3 weeks.

      The customer contacted Hempy Construction on Saturday July 8th via email stating that they had ***** ****** to their residence. ***** ****** informed the customer that our work was deficient and needed remedied. ***** ****** supplied the customer with a $700.00 estimate to make the repairs.

      Hempy Construction responded the following business day on Monday July 10th via email requesting to know whether the quoted repairs were made

      The customer responded on July 10th stating that repairs are not yet made.

      Hempy Construction contacts the customer the following business day on July 11th to setup a site visit on Tuesday July 12th in an effort to review and repair any issues associated with our work.

      The customer responded on July 11th stating that they are out of town but have availability the following week.

      Hempy Construction contacts the customer the following business day on July 12th attempting to setup a site visit upon return to turn on Tuesday July 18th.

      The customer did not respond to the request for site visit on July 12th.

      The morning of July 18th, Hempy Construction attempts to confirm a site visit for July 18th.

      On July 26th the customer contacted Hempy Construction advising he will file a BBB complaint if the issues are not resolved. Hempy Construction responds the same day, July 26th, in an attempt to setup a site visit for Friday July 28th.

      Hempy Construction responded to all of the customers requests within one business day. I’ve attached timestamped communications outlining our attempts to rectify any issues associated with our work.
