On 9/17/2022 I went to PM title to do my mobile home title paid all the money they were asking a little over 53000 dollars and have been waiting on my title every since then. I call them and I get told someone will call me back and they dont. They also took 311 dollars for lot rent and the Mobile home park has not received it yet so I had to pay it again and was told they should not have taken the money for lot rent cause they have nothing to do with the park. This property closed on 09/08/2022. The title has not been delivered to the new buyer due to it being in the possession of the prior owner’s lien holder. The lienholder received a payout of their loan and has released possession of the title and mailed it to the new buyer on 09/28/2022. PM Title at no time possessed the actual Title due to the prior lien.
PM Title will be issuing a refund of $311.00. The prior owner of the property did not make a payment for September’s lot rent.PM Title, LLC

I recently sold an house and PM title informed me( ********* trustee) of the estate that funds could be wired to the trust account or a check could be cut to myself. I informed them and signed documents to have the check cut under my name and Social Security number to match for taxes purposes. The processing agent flat out lied and told me a check would be sent by courier shortly after signing. Approximately 2.5 hours later the check was delivered to me in the trust name and not in the trustee’s name as agreed. I contacted the agent( Theresa) and was informed her attorneys would not cut the check to me, but it had to be in the trust and denied making that statement to me the day before. I now have tax issues and have to wait several days for the check to clear, when this was false/fraudulently stated otherwise. I believe this was done to rush the loan through and ethically should be scrutinized. I am considering legal action as well. Shame on them.Business response

The property sold by the ********* Trustee of the Trust. The Trust in question did not contain revisions to allow the proceeds to be distributed to any person or entity, outside of the actual trust. Due to provisions of the Trust, PM Title was unable to distribute proceeds to Mark Meadows individually (Heir, ********* Trustee). The funding was carried out in accordance with the provisions outlined in the trust. As to delays waiting for the check to clear, that is an issue with a bank’s funds availability rules. Nothing was done to “rush” the transaction. The lender had approved the closing and all parties were ready, willing and able to close.
