In late 2023 I spoke with Mr. ******* about installing vinyl siding on the garage of a rental property in Ada, OH, which is about a 2 hour drive from our primary residence. Mr ******* then provided an estimate which I accepted. On 1-3-24, I drove up to the property and wrote a check for the down payment. he indicated that he would begin the work. Mr ******* apparently did portions of the job over the next few months. In early March he contacted me and stated that he was also finished and he was requesting the remainder of the balance. I indicated that I did not wish to pay the remaining, until he was completely finished. We agreed to meet on 3-9-24 at a specific time. Mr ******* indicated the he should be finished by then. Upon my arrival he was working on it but was not finished. I paid him in full at that time, after he assured me that it would be finished. In early April, I was at the property for an unrelated issue and observed missing piece of trim. I did not examine the rest of the garage closely, due to the weather. I contacted Mr. ******* about the trim and he stated that he would replace it as soon as possible. In mid-June 2024, I made it back to property. At this point I found numerous issues. In addition to the still missing trim, I noticed several of the soffit and siding pieces are cut short leaving gaps, There's a section of lower siding is loose and not attached to the bottom starter strip. On the side that full high winds, there are section that appear to be misaligned and can not to connected at the seam. Finally all (4) corners pf the soffit and installed completely differently, with one side open enough that a bird has build a large next behind the siding. On 6-28-24, I sent photos of the issues, to Mr. ******* and requested that he correct the issues. He indicated that he would take care the problems, but as of of 7-16-24, he has not. At this point, I just want the siding fixed in a timely manner.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Mr ******* has assured me that the issues will be corrected. If he fails to do so, I will re-open the complaint.
