  WE rented a cabin 8-4-22-to 8-7-22. Upon arrival we paid $720 by check. The room closest to the bathroom was musty I could not go in there. But the rest of the cabin was fine all day. That evening it rained. As the rain came I entered the LR from the sun porch I could not breathe from mold. It was uninhabitable. WE text her. She told us it was her quiet time. My husband called her & we went down to her. I couldn't talk due to mold. She showed us another place. I was so sick I didn't like that place either. I just wanted to leave cause it affects me terribly. I wanted to leave tomorrow. She wanted us to leave that night. We could stay in the basement (finished) it was not affected. I was fine down there. WE are vacationing & we had been drinking & were not getting in a car & drive. I had paid so I was staying that night. She had recorded all we said w/o us knowing. She told us we had to be out by 10 am. And she wanted $268 cash before we left, we asked "Why?" She threatened us with the Police, who don't like out of towners! She was also making fun of me. She told me I was mental & had mental issues. she asked my husband to come on & hit her. She was totally uncontrolled. they tore us down verbally. Abusive. We did pay the $268 in cash. She did give $457 back from our check. they sat outside waiting for us to leave. we let them inspect the cabin. Then she tried to apologize. she owes me $305 back. WE ended up giving her $988. she gave back $457. I will pay her the $226 for that night. she still owes me $305. She owes an apology for saying "You have mental issues". She was a bully. She Belittled me.

  Jan 29th, this woman rented the cottage on the lake and I accepted her reservation which she made thru reservations on line. They charge 6 percent which I paid. 

  I received numerous phone calls and 72 texts during this time.

  Jan 31 she added another day and a pet. She was worried about not coming because of gas prices, phone calls and texts added people so now she has 6 coming a dog.

  Bill was 895.38. The 417 she is referring to is 2 nights and no pet which is on a text. By Aug 1 she was texting afraid rain was going to happen 70%. 

  At 10:37 she sends me a text once again - call me - wakes me up & my text says what is it? Trying to be quiet, my husband is still asleep. Then she starts in the house is full of mold. Just call so I called. She was making little sense so **** & I got dressed and went down to the cottage. She was out on the upper deck on the phone yelling F this and F that with a beer & a cigarette saying she couldn't breathe. The house was fine when she got there but rain brings black mold and she could die. I told her she needed to leave. There are 2 motels less than 1/2 mile down the road. She states they had been drinking and she wouldn't leave. I offered all her $ back to leave. That obviously was not going to happen. I took her next door to see if she wanted that house on the lake. Answer no and ran out. She threatened to call the cops that night. I told her if not leaving she would pay that night and leave 1st thing in morning.

  Saturday morning she was still there at 10:00 - I went to give her money back and again she kept wanting her money back and going to call cops. I never once told her I was calling cops until in the house her husband was irate and came fast toward me with his big fist pulled back. That is the first I mentioned cops if he hit me. They finally left! Threatening Health Dept. I told her to call them as you see "black mold only comes out when it rains." Health Dept did come & no signs of mold -- when she got her report from Health Dept she went crazy on that person also. 

  Since we have a clean bill of health from the Health Dept. she actually owes for her last 2 nights. Her poor dog is on tranquilizers. I totally understand! And no I never apologized for anything.

  Yes, I did tell her 6 people but 2 could not make it at the last minute. She excepted that so that is why she charged me $720.00. But after this all went down she said she would charge me for 1 night which i did pay in cash $263. then she gave me cash back. so she still owes me $263.00 back from the check. Plus Im not sure why she made us pay her more in cash when she had cashed are check. she new what she was doing getting over on us but we just wanted to get out. 

  Yes, we did talk about the rain and the gas prices who didnt talk about the gas prices and she knows that was all in conversation. i shoowed didnt we.

  On Thursday when we called her we did need her attention and yes when she came down i was sitting outside having acouple beers im on vacation and i couldnt go in the house i got sick from the mold that came after the storm. so she did want us to leave but i was not drinking and driving and i was able to sleep in the downstairs. We have turned the air off. She did offer the other place but i was sick from the other place and just did not want to be bothered because how did I know the same thing wouldnt have happened there and that night i was sick i couldnt have known and not willing to take that chance i new what i needed to do to safe at the place we was at. so she said we needed to be out the next day and i said that is fine i was leaving anyway. She is saying when she came down I was on the porch saying F this and F that. well that is a lie. i did go on the phone after she left but she set on the side of the house and recorded me she did tell me that Friday morning that is not allowed with out me knowledge. she can get in allot of trouble for that. 

  So Friday morning around 8:45 she and her husband shows up i was out on the deck because again i can not be in the house. and she starts I want you out by 10 because i need to clean i have renters coming i have to clean. And that is when she started her mouth about wanting cash we said we gave you a check then give us the check back and we will give you cash for one night that is all she wanted she said i already cashed your check. we asked why do we have to give cash she said becasue your not leaving without giving me cash. that is when i said we need to call the cops and solve this she then said who do you think they will take sides with they dont like people from out of town. so at this point we just wanted to get out there before trouble started. so my husband to run to the bank to get cash to give her at that point she told me agian that she was recording everything. i said that is fine make sure you record what you are also saying. so he came back we paid her she did give us some cash back but we wasnt thinking she didnt give us enough bank so she charged us for 2 nights. so at that timw we are in there packing up he was calling me mentual and making fun of my voice because of the mold my lungs start closing and i cant talk so she started mocking me and she wouldnt stop caling me names and making fun of me. my husband di get mad and got in face but never raised his fist that is a big lie. he told her just making fun of my wife and i would hit you. 

  ALso how does ***** know that i got mad at the health department are they friends? Yes i got mad becasue they didnt even do a mold test they just walked around you can not determine mold with out testing with a meter. Mold kills and the health department should want to check these rental places out. I am allergic to mold i can determine quickly. AND NO MY DOG IS NOT ON TRANQUILLERS again bullying not only me know my dog.

   So in my eyes you did not get a clean bill of helath because they did not check for mod.

   SO she rerented and made money so double dipping. she was only suppose to charge me for one night.

  This woman says mold only comes out when it rains . That should be enough said .

  I worked with her for 8 months patiently. She booked for 6 people . It is not my fault nobody wanted to come with her. The motel is maybe a half mile from us and if only 2 beers , no reason she could not leave if making her so ill. 
  That night we even offered a different waterfront and she was not going to do that. Ran out yelling something .
  We have contacted an attorney, the first time in 17 years .

  Her contract was for 6 people.

  Her complaint unfounded. I do not know anyone at the Health Department. She actually owes for the 3 night stay. Actually for 6 adults.!
