I rent an apartment from this company, I started renting October 1st of 2023. On October 9th I turned on my heat to learn that it does not work, I texted the leasing manager who told me to report it in the app we use to pay our rent/bills etc. so I did. I got an automated reply in the 9th and never heard anything about it till October 25th when they finally came to look on October 31st. The system needed replaced or fixed so they told me they would come back after they quoted the company a price to see what they wanted to do. I never heard anything again until November 17th when I was contacted that they would begin installing a new boiler and pipes and November 21st. They came that day and I have never seen them come again, the old boiler is still there taken a little bit apart and the new one sitting there waiting to be installed. It is now December 6th I still have no heat, it's the middle of winter in NE Ohio, thankfully it has been mild and I have a couple heaters but when it's cold cold I know it will not stay warm in here. No one in the whole house has heat, it's a quaddruplex. The people downstairs also have a child under 1 living there. I continue to pay my rent and gas bill on time every month but I'm starting to get upset that I still have no heat and paying for gas I can't even use.Business response

We contracted a service company almost immediately when made aware of this. Boilers are not furnaces, they’re much more complex and complicated when replacing with a brand new unit. Also a few of the parts needed were on back order and took nearly 40 days to receive. However the unit is being replaced in its entirety and is scheduled to be fully repaired and operational within 48 hours according to the HVAC company handling the job. We spoke with two of the tenants already and let them know of the situation.
