On 7-8-22 I reserved a cottage with Camp Cedar and I paid $188.95 with my Affirm Credit Card. When I arrive at Camp Cedar I used my debit card for the $50 hold for accidentals. A few days later I realized that they not only put the $50 hold on my account but another hold for $176.40. When I called on 7-13, I was told that it was a mistake and that it would be refunded. I asked to speak to the manager to confirm that we were on the same page. I was told the manager would call me back. She never called. The next day I look at my account to find that I not only still have the $176.40 hold, but now have another charge on my account from Camp Cedar for $226.40. I called and was told that everything has been refunded. However, I am still missing the money. Their unauthorized charges to my account has resulted in overdraft fees of $149 and counting. I had to miss work because I had no gas money due to their error. I was told that it was not their problem. That I needed to contact my bank. My bank can't do anything until the charges a refunded. I honestly thought it was just human error until I seen on the BBB website that this has happened a lot.
