      I spent 1 hour on the phone with Phillip ordering a hot tub cover. Went through all the fields on the order page with him and verified the price at the end before purchase. He then calls me back and says that they can't honor the price and it was an additional $300. Asked to talk to his mgr. and a rude man name Scott came on and was blocking me from speaking with the owner. What kind of shady place is this? I'm glad I canceled the order.

      Unethical business. No exact delivery time just giving you a lead time of 6-12 weeks. They want 300$ rush fee on top of 700$ order. That means they artificially delay delivery time, so you will be inclined to pay rush fee. They claim lead time can be slower in winter times, which is not true because they have said the same narrative over the phone when i called them in winter.It has been one month since order has been placed, yet they don't know when the delivery time is going to be. Also, they advertise free delivery on several places on the website, yet they have charged 150$ of delivery fee.

      Do not use SPA-MART. Had onne of the worst customer experiences with my order that was just cancelled on me. There had been no communication for 3 weeks since the original order was placed until I received an email saying my order had been confirmed and payment was made. After checking the site to find out where my order was it said pending payment. I filled out the contact us form asking where in the process my cover was and if it hadn't been "processed" I would need to cancel and buy somewhere else. I then received an email saying it was cancelled as requested. After calling what turned out to be a horrible customer service rep he argued semantics with me that processed meant being built vs being in the 6-12 week queue. Instead of offering up any kind of help or re-activating my order he basically told me tough **** and good luck. I would have been more than happy to continue the remaining time period left in my processed order, but instead nobody reached out and instead cancelled my order.

      Don't buy from this company. They will take your $500+ item and just leave it in your yard. They don't deliver to your porch no matter how big your porch is. Their customer service has a lot to be desired as well when you contact them.

      The spa cover was left leaning against the side of Mr. ******* garage, not left laying in his yard. It appears that the cover fell over at some point. We sent our driver's delivery picture and attempted to contact Mr. ***** to discuss his concern. He has not responded.

      Clearly the business is as good with its records as it is with deliveries. I spoke to ***** in customer support on 4/19. ***** told me it was my "prerogative" to post my experience online. ***** also informed me it was my "prerogative" to not order from the company again. When I order a $500+ product I expect it to be put in a place where it shouldn't fall over. It was put against the corner of my house standing up tall. Would you have delivered a TV in the same fashion? I'm just leaving my experience for others to determine if they would like their $500 thrown on the ground.

      I own a small property services business that services some of the vacation rental homes in my area. I had a customer who's hot tub cover had been ripped and a replacement was needed asap. I spent hours reading company reviews all over the internet, including this site, and decided upon Sonshine. I had placed an order for the cover and asked to expedite manufacturing and shipping. I did so on a Monday and had the cover in my hands on that Friday afternoon. The cover was well made and stitched, the material used was not of cheap quality and seems like it will last for years. I have ordered a total of 5 covers now and they have all been the same quality. Happy customers tend to not leave reviews, I made sure to go out of my way to leave this one.

      Buyer Beware of Sonshine Products prices!We recently ordered a new spa cover & cover lift assist from Sonshine Products. We reviewed their products online and called to speak with a sales representative. The sales rep reviewed our Brand & Model of Hot Tub, as well as Confirmed with us, the dimensions (108"L x 91"W w/7" Radius corners). We added a cover lift assist and a couple of package accessories.The sales rep gave us a Total price with tax, which also agreed exactly with the online order form price total for our order. The rep directed us to place our order using the online form, so we did and gave them our payment info for the agreed total, which they promptly charged to our account. Now, a week later, I receive an email from Sonshine Prod. saying that because my Spa Cover is over 100" long, it will now cost an additional $140 & my order (already paid for) is on hold until this additional charge is agreed to.There was Never any mention by their sales rep, or anywhere on their online order form of any Extra Charge of this sort if a cover is over 100" long. NOTHING!This has all the smell of a Bait & Switch and, After they already have our money!Unfortunately, we need to replace our existing cover asap, so they have us between a rock and a hard spot. I have reluctantly agreed to this ridiculous overcharge, but have also informed Sonshine products in my reply, of my intent to detail this complaint on BBB, *********** state **** of ********************* in hopes that they will review & amend this additional charge, refund it to my account, and complete my original order as submitted & paid for already with the help of their company sales representative.

      After 3 months many phone calls and emails from me and hardly any response from anyone at this company. They charged me to fix their mistake of recommendation for first purchase. Took over a month to get it fixed and then spoke with owner (*****) said he had the one I needed and would swap it. I received the same one as the first one!? He charged me $45 to ship the new one and return the first wrong one. I felt that was fair and paid. After receiving the wrong one twice and then taking another month of me bugging them to send the correct one I was frustrated. I felt I was not wrong for requesting a refund of the $45. After three emails asking how they would like to refund the money I finally got a call from ***** and he literally belittled me and called names because I asked for the shipping to be refunded. It's not like I was asking for the whole thing to be refunded. He told me flat out it was a "dirt bag" move to ask for the money back. He then said I will have bad karma coming my way because I asked for money back. Also he said if he knew what type of person I was he would have never sold to me. THIS WAS THE ***** OF THE COMPANY!! I paid for a product and got wronged twice and I am the bad person?? Three months and over 20 emails and over 30 phone calls to try and resolve this. But I am a dirt bag.... Stay clear from this company. Spend a few dollars somewhere else. You will have better support if something goes wrong.
