I recently completed a drug rehabilitation program at this facility. While there this business did not provide the proper amount of calories per day that they legally should be serving to their clients. A COVID-19 outbreak took place and clients were exposed to the virus. Proper quarantine protocols/procedures were not practiced causing other clients to be exposed to the virus. On one occasion I was supposed to receive a package that was sent to me from my mother via UPS. The package was delivered and signed for. However, I was never given my package from this facility. After a call was made to UPS my mother was told that the office manager of this business had signed for this package. To this day I am not sure what happened to my mail/package. I do have a receipt with the office manager's name that states she did in fact sign for the package. I feel this business has quite a bit of foul play going on. My medical insurance as well as many others' was charged a substantial amount of money for proper treatment/care. Ethically, what this business is doing cannot be legal. I'm reaching out to the BBB requesting that some kind of investigation or action takes place looking into this business. Thank you for taking the time to hear my concerns. It is greatly appreciated.Business response

Good afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today. In response to the complaint below, I have investigated each situation.
Beginning in Jan. 2023, our catering company decreased the portion size and many additional options to their meals due to rising costs. This change was not well received by our clients, and we received many complaints. In Feb. 2023, we worked with other catering companies, obtained quotes, and ultimately made significant changes to our menu options and portions. As of March 6, 2023, the issues have been resolved and the meals are nutritious and balanced.
In Feb. 2023, we had two clients test positive for COVID-19. Client one chose to leave our treatment center and quarantine at home. Client two did not have anywhere to go and chose to quarantine on-site at our residential facility. Client two tested positive on 2/8/2023, and remained quarantined in a separate room for the entire 5 days, until 2/14/2023. The only people that had access to the client were the nursing staff to deliver the food and medications.
I spoke with the Office Manager regarding the missing package. She stated she did recall ******* getting a package delivered, but thought that it was given to him by our staff. If there is a proof of delivery receipt that could be shared with us, that would be very helpful. Otherwise, we could also reach out to the client and attempt to replace the item he claims to have never received.
I hope this is helpful information, and satisfies your request. Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me.
Have a great day,
