Quote for bathroom shower tile job received in August, 2021. Job supposed to start on October 11, 2021 but tile setter needed drain to be repositioned. This was resolved in a week. Tile setter never came back to start job. Multiple attempts to reach tile setter and owner of Harms Carpet One were left unanswered. Have had to go into the store twice (January 4th and another time in March) to express frustration at job left incomplete. New tile setter came to the house at the end of March and said job would take a week to complete and thought he could start by the middle of the following week- so early April. Change in system to be used caused supply delay til end of April. Owner emailed to say they would start May 6 ish. Job started and we have basically been at standstill. Gave permission for job to be completed while I was on vacation last week- no work was done. Texted tile setter 3 times (June 9,10,11)- no response. 6/13- message left for owner, Jake Harms- no repsonse. Tiler delivered his wet saw on 6/14- no work done. 6/15- tile setter arrived and did necessary prep work. 6/16- tile setter NO SHOW. Messages left for Jake Harms x2 (second one expressing anger and shameful usage of foul language on my part)- also demanded returned call and if not returned, told him I will be coming to store tomorrow. Job has been promised to be completed so many times and has yet to be finished. We would like your help. Finally, we do not want to pay any additional money from the original quote ($900 increase for change in system but with less labor hours required)- this has been so stressful and the lack of professionalism and communication has been ridiculous. Our hands are tied. I cannot figure out how to upload the emails and quotes but am happy to provide. I will try to email them to the link on this page. Sorry, not very tech savvy. We are leaving to go out of the country on 6/20 and return on 7/1. We will be able to take calls on 7/2/22.

Thank you for your reply. I am going to withdraw my complaint because the owner finally got back to me and agreed to what I felt was fair after my ordeal. I will more likely write a review at this point.

      Sincerely,
