Horrible experience. After market Catalytic converter installed and started failing 4 months after installation. The CEL went on and off intermittently for months. I had the codes read and they always pointed back to the cat. I shared this with the owner, ***, and he suggested it was the rear cat failing. I tried to get my car into him several times but he was unresponsive. I took my car to 2 other mechanics, asking if it was the rear cat. They explained that there are no sensors on the rear and the codes are referring to the front. They suggested I warranty the cat. I shared this with *** and he then suggested it was the O2 sensors. I asked him if it could check them and he did not respond. I went to another mechanic and they said that the o2 sensors would be giving additional codes if they were the issue. I told this to *** and he said that my car burns a lot of oil and it was likely the cat failing because of that. I asked him if he could please try to warranty, he said he would get back to me. A week later, I ask him for any update and he said that he emailed the manufacturer and would get back to me but then said again that I was probably out of warranty. I asked him who the manufacturer was and he said he did not know. So then I had to confront him by saying, if you did not know, who did you email?? I tried taking my car to a shop to find out what brand he installed and they said they would have to take the cat off to find out what brand it was, I asked *** again for the manufacturer. After several days and requests for this info, he sent me a half completed warranty claim from Davico. This entire interaction with him took 4 weeks. By the time I received the document from him, I was 200 miles out of warranty. Not to mention, I had been asking him about the CEL since last September. I trusted this guy because he came word of mouth, had a small shop and was passionate about Subarus. I feel betrayed and used.

We do not have a *** that works here. I have no recolection of any troubles with a Subaru and catalytic converter issues. Can you make sure this guy has the right shop. We are a 7 bay facility and not really small by any means.

Worst scammers ever. They will take your money and won't honor the warranty given if something happens. Dropped my vehicle off to them over and over because they never fixed the problem. Kept taking my money for their BS service. I highly recommend to not do any business with these money hungry scammers. Worst customer service also. They well greet you with an attitude if you're lucky. Stay away from Grizzly Auto. They'll get theirs in court soon!

************* as we discussed if you bring the van back i will do what I can to help you out. There will be and additional charge to fix the problems that needed fixed when we did the first repair but you did not have the money at the time so we did what we could to get your van on the road because you had to get back to work the next morning. If you would like to discuss this I will be more than willing to see what I can do to get your van fixed.**** *****

I will absolutely NEVER have your company work on any of my vehicles or anyone else's that I know EVER! Enjoy my hard earned money while you can, people will be smart enough and realize not to patronize your money hungry scamming company. And by the way, I took my van to a real and honest mechanic. The van is working fine as it should of the first time.
