My grandmother and I got gel manicures at this location on Saturday the 26th at 6:45pm which cost $38 each plus tax as well as two $15 tips (total tipped was $30 plus a $4 ATM transaction fee) The workers were friendly. A man named Joey did my nails, and I believe Amy, a woman, did my grandmothers. ~3 hours later, the gel was bubbled/coming off on my grandmothers, and continued to come up quickly. ~14 hours after mine, I had already lost two nails, which peeled off after virtually no use of them. I contacted the salon, was told to return (but was told I could not make an appointment), and when I called to confirm I could come in that day (Monday) I was told there was no time for me. I asked several times for a refund instead but was denied. I was able to come in Tuesday for a 5:30 appointment, and was seen at 6:05. I spoke with Joey (I believe the owner) about getting dip (a $38 service) instead of gel, I was told that was fine after some back and forth. After, I was made to pay for the dip nails even though I as well as the person I was with believed I didn’t have to as it was the same price service. It may have been a misunderstanding but I remember being told otherwise. My grandmother did not want to return as the service was so terrible. I once again asked for a refund for my grandmothers nails (I paid for hers too), and was denied. I was told multiple times this never happened and that my grandmothers were still good (which they have no way of knowing, and was untrue). Both of us have additional pictures with the embedded time stamps smartphones include if necessary and the transaction was on credit card so I am able to submit that information as well. I have attached my nails from ~14 hours after the service as well as my grandmothers from ~3 hours after. Thank you!
