On 5/19/22 at 2:54pm EST, I received a call under the name "Allen Daniel." It was a collection agency contacting me on behalf of AFC Urgent Care Mentor for an unpaid bill of $65. I told the lady I've been making payments on the account. My last payment was $15 on 4/30/22. All of my payments were made through my patient portal. The lady advised me to contact the AFC Urgent Care about the discrepancy. I called their billing department right away. The agent told me she had no report of my April 2022 payment even though I had my record pulled up and the transaction ID number was given to her. She put me on a long hold to speak with her manager about the issue. After being on hold for about 10 minutes, the agent came back and verified that the April 2022 payment had been made. She also stated I should not receive any more calls from the collection agency. I am contacting the BBB to make sure this company is going to clear my name and payment status. My credit report is in a good standing, and it's not fair to have it messed up due to unprofessionalism.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I just spoke with Trent, office manager for AFC Urgent Care, in Mentor. He was very nice and apologetic about my bad experience with their billing system.He took care of my remaining balance of $50.63 for customer service satisfaction.I am very happy and relieved over this situation.Thanks,******* ********
