I was told when I started taking the infusions, that I would have my copay of $50 and the company of the medication would pay the rest. Same way it was with enbrel. It cost me absolutely nothing. Even after I met my YEARLY deductible I was still required to pay my $50 copay which this was the only office to do so. Sounds like fraud. But on 10/24 I had a follow appointment, from previous appointment a medication that gave me an allergic reaction and sent me to ER twice. I walked in today was told if I didn’t pay a balance in full I wouldn’t be seen. Now let me tell you this is the third time hippa has been violated from the way it was brought up. Then was apologized about it being brought up and was never talked about the bill again. I left my job in July of 2021 went back in August of 2022 didn’t last 90 days. Alapatt has absolutely no respect with patient requests it’s his way or no way. Be littles you because he thinks his paper degree TRUMPS my 10+. Years of the disease. So today instead of starting a medication and it didn’t happen over a BALANCE that I shouldn’t even have. They know I have no job but expect to be paid. AMERICAN GREED at it finest.
