During Covid I decided to purchase a package for my son- to sky dive. I viewed start sky divings website and after seeing all the package options. I decided to buy a package. NOT a gift card. But a package deal to tandem jump with video also. Well, with everything being closed and people couldn’t go anywhere. We did not schedule the jump yet. Since there is 5 years to complete said package. No worries. And once things opened. I called because I didn’t see the package on website anymore. I was told. No we changed it. That pkg isn’t avail. But I bought that package. And it was the same pkg I had done years before. So- the package is gone. And it wasn’t even a “special buy now” thing. The lady that responded to my call and email was just rude and nasty and mean! Pretty sure they can’t just make my item worth nothing when it is what I paid for? I want the items I bought- IT WAS NOT A GIFT CARD. IT WAS an item from their website over $300Business response

Hello, ***! We are sad to hear you feel frustrated by your experience. The great news is that there seems to be a misunderstanding about your gift card balance. The amount of money you paid to place on the gift card ($299.98) on 16 April 2020 is still valid until 15 April 2025 and can be used toward skydiving! See attached for the shopping cart of your transaction, which was a Tandem Deluxe Gift Card. As with other purchases like an airline ticket, if you choose not to or are unable to use the gift card or credit at the time of purchase, you are subject to any difference in fares in the future. In your case, you bought it right as COVID hit. We feel your pain there! To help our customers, when we opened back up in June 2020, we kept all rates at the pre-COVID rate through the end of the 2020 season (November 2020). When you are ready to make your skydive, you can book with us on our website (www.startskydiving.com) by clicking the "Book Now" button in the upper right corner. Our 2023 bookings should be up within a week. When you make your booking, you will place a deposit down, which can be refunded upon arrival with your physical gift card or used toward other items. We look forward to sharing the freedom of the sky with you soon and demonstrating in person what a caring and loving staff we have.
