On January 14, 2024, we hired Kris L****, owner of Lease’s Landscaping and Home Improvement to build us a 24x32 enclosed addition with 3 insulated barn doors on the South side of our existing barn for our animals. He provided us with a quote for $12,500 with terms of 50% down and the remainder due when the project was finished. We paid Kris 50% down, $6,500 on 1/14/24. Kris made a few suggestions that we liked, so there were a few modifications to the roofline of the structure and it did add more to the cost to the structure, but he assured us he would have it done within 2- 3 weeks max. As things started progressing, we asked Kris if he would also insulate the inside of the structure and he agreed to do so for a cost of $5,500. We paid him a deposit of $3,000 for this on 1/29/24. We paid him a total of $18,660 and then still had to pay another contractor $900 to fix and finish the inside of the structure. Besides the fact that Kris was very disorganized, he rarely if ever put in a full day of work. As the weeks went on, it was evident the project was going to be taking much longer than expected with only working partial days with a very limited crew. He did do a repair on our roof which took maybe ½ a day. We remained patient knowing we had our own deadlines and projects we were trying to accomplish. We were sympathetic to the unexpected illnesses, but our patience was growing thin with the lack of hours put in to complete the job. Now, we are stuck with an even bigger problem, a sagging roof. We voiced our concerns numerous times about the untreated 2x4’s Kris used to build the truces and why he was not using TREATED 2x6 boards. Kris assured us that untreated 2x4’s would be more than sufficient. We should have known better with an F rating with the BBB!!! Now we know the real story. We checked with every State and local government agency, and they have no record of Kris having a contractor’s license. He also said we did not need a permit. Not true either.Initial Complaint

We hired Lease's Landscaping & Home Improvement in September 2023 to complete an overhead extension to our pole barn with a stamped concrete patio. After multiple attempts of contacting the owner to have this job completed it is still not finished 6 months later. There have been multiple excuses given as to why this has not and cannot be completed. We have given grace and every opportunity for him to complete this without resolution. This job has been paid in full without completion.Initial Complaint

I spent 25,000 on home improvements with Kris the owner of the business. My improvements included. Master bathroom, two porches, kitchen, metal roof and gutters. I was told the roof came with a 20 year warranty. It's been less then a year the roof leaks in three places. I have contacted kris multiple times and have received answers from Kris saying he would be here to repair them. He even said it should be an easy fit. Yet he never comes to make the repair. I just want my roof repaired.Initial Complaint
