Purchased car 9-21-21, and after a few days it overheated, no turn signals, flashers, horn, air, and shakes like the transmission. I reported it all took it to the service dept. U was never called ever. It was there 15 days . They forgot it was there once. I left and the air, horn, turn signals started almost immediately not working. The coolant container was the only thing fixed in 15 days. Fast forward a bit the car shakes so hard it throws me. Turn signals still don't work. I take it again say I'm not paying it happened a few days after I purchased and you never fixed it. They had it around 10 days. They said they checked everything it's normal and put in a bit motor. I had it an hour still no air, horn, or turn signals. I called Bill in the service dept said bring it back. I said I have no time. I work. The kicker is They refused to let me take it off the lot without paying the $100 deductible. I said you didn't communicate I had to pay that and the car wSnt fixed. ***** ******** rudlet stated his men put in time and labor and he need at least $50 or I wasn't taking it off the lot. My sister paid it. Now I receive bills. I sent $5 purposely and wrote a letter the cars still not fixed. Now I'm getting threats of collections on a car never fixed. It's been 9 months I have no turn signals, air, horn, transmission I believe throwing me, the seals around all windows are rotted and leak the trunk got moldy. It's a lemon. I now owe $250 a month onBusiness response

January 3rd, I brought my car into Ridenour Auto Group in New Lexington, Ohio. I needed my TCM replaced on my car. They told me my car’s TCM was on emergency order and it would be in within 3-5weeks. 3months, 18days later and no update on when the part is going to be there or when I will get it back. I drive 110+ miles every day and managing without a car for this long has been extremely hard. They seem in no form of hurry and it’s ridiculous.Business response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. When ***** brought us the 2013 Ford Focus, we told him that due to the nationwide chip shortage Ford cannot make the part that he needs. We put an emergency order in with Ford. Ford has shared they are waiting on 32,000 of these parts. We have told him he is welcome to try to get the part somewhere else, and if he does, to simply pick up his car. We have kept his order in place while he looks somewhere else so that he is not put back at the end of the line for the part. Ford has not given us any updates except to say it is on inter-galactic back order. We feel for him, but we do not offer loaner vehicles and we are not charging him a storage fee while we wait on the part. This is a warranty part, so we will not be charging him for it when it comes in. We understand this is disappointing, we are disappointed as well. We wish we had better news. Thank you.
