I bought a dog named ***** from Buckeye K9 as a service dog. He cost me 7665. immediately noticeable was the fact that ***** is afraid of men and lacks basic obedience. He also bit my female dog. I returned him to the company for more training. When they returned him to me, I still did not see any improvement with the issues.

****** did purchase a service dog through our company in September of 2022 and woked with us in private lessons during *****'s training with us so she was up to date and involved in all of his training commands and was able to see his progress as we went through the process together. She took him home in November of 2022. After she took him home we continued to do one on one lessons with her and ***** so she knew how to handle him and was confident in his training.  We met out in public for the follow ups and ***** has never had an issue with any men during the time with us or when we were with her in any of those lessons.  She contacted me a couple of months after she had him and said he was afraid of the guy at the post office but that was the only concern raised.  We offered to do another session to help with this and see why he started that behavior with her but she said she would work him on her own since she lived a couple of hours away.  A little more time went by and she said he was still nervous with that particular guy so we decided to have her bring him back to us for more additional training (for free) and see if we saw any of those issues while with us.  WE DID NOT.  He was perfect with us and not nervous with anyone that he met, including men. We even worked with her again out in public and he was perfect for her with us present meeting other men. She also never mentioned once about any type of issue or bite with her other dog.  I don't beleive that happened with *****.  He is extremely dog social with no issues in that area.

When she contacted us again later about wanting to return him back to us I remdinded her about the purchase contract that we had between us that stated "ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NO RETURNS ARE ALLOWED" . (I beleive she attached a copy of that contract she signed already).  When she took him home she was completely happy with his training and him persoanlly.  I understand things dont always work out the way intended and I told her I would make an acception with her and ***** and find her a repalcement dog instead.  I did not have to do this but I told her we want her 100% happy with the process and we were willing to do that.  That was our last coversation so I am confused on why she sent in this complaint when I already agreed to help her out.

I'm Not sure what the next steps are but I don't beleive we did anything wrong and we are willing to continue working with her and finding the right dog for her and her needs.  I would hope this complaint wouldn't be posted since we have alrady offered to help her out?

      Thanks

**** mentioned that they did not see any sign of fear in this dog, however i have videos from my working with ***** where ***** is cearly fearful of what is happening around him. For example i have a video of a time i handed him off to a male in order to prove he was fearful and all he did was try to free himself from the leash as he was afraid of the person holding his leash, even though he had met him once before. As the ADA states dogs must be WELL Trained and the fact that ***** could not handle a strange person holding his leash for 30 seconds proves he could not pass the CGC test, let alone the Public Access Test. i, as a handler of a service dog, should not need to worry about a unruly dog.

Not sure what is being rejected.  I already have ***** back and offered to replace him for you.  We are no longer discussing ***** and the issues he ONLY had while in your care.  Reach out to me if you want to find us another dog to train for you.  I have already agreed to that.
