On 2/2/2022 I got an email telling me I had $10. off a hair cut at Great Clips. I didn't have the code so I had to go home and get the code. When I signed in at Great Clips it was a 32 min wait so I went to the salon and waited. Before I sat down I asked if the coupon was was valid. They said that the coupon wasn't allowed at their place so I got ready to leave. I told them that I couldn't afford the $14. senior cut over 2 times a year cause I get $841. a month to live on. The guy in the next chair said he would pay for my cut so I sat down. I was told the manager wasn't in till noon and salons can't operate unless a manager is present. When I was almost done getting my cut the manager said she'd see if I could get the cut for $8.99 or $9.99. In the meantime the guy paid for his own cut and left. The manager kept stalling and finally asked what I could afford. I said $10. I finally paid the $10. but got no receipt. I left and was depressed more than I went in cause I have clinical depression and hate asking anyone for anything. I felt like they were discriminating against anyone who is poor.Business response

The business informed BBB that the consumer was asked what she could afford. She said $10. The business accepted the reduced price from the consumer as agreed. The business does not feel a store credit is due the consumer at this time.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: When the guy in the next chair offered to pay for my haircut cause I said I live on $840. a month, no one told me that I'd be paying for that hair cut when I was ready to walk out the door instead. I don't get over 2 haircuts a year due to a lack of money. I wanted to walk out and the guy offered to pay that day. I couldn't afford to buy hygiene products for the month. I still say they did all that to make me feel bad and I still want to be comped a haircut.
