Entered by BBB staff LO Consumer hired the business in 2022. They would not return any of her calls in 2022, they did not come back until October of 2023. She states the business demanded money up front in cash, she paid $10,000 total, all in cash she has receipts. They did not complete the work or get an inspection. They will not return any of the consumers phone calls. The consumer has proof of failed permits from the city.Business response

Customer was informed that the floor board holes need to be cut in order to install ductwork and that is what was agreed upon. If the floor boards have been cut, we will gladly come back out and finish workCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:Good Morning,
I received the letter with the reply from Rick's afforable heating in which they gave a response with something about floor boards being cut .
There is ro return lines that were run , floor boards were cut by them , they are crooked and jagged as well. No returns , no duct work. Heating and cooling system dosemt even work with this not being done. The vents they installed are loose and falling. Multiple phone calls and appointments were made . They never came back .. multiple failed inspections. They were paid in full in cash because they refused any payment other than cash . The workers were not skilled and often asked homeowners for help which was refused because they were paid to preform work they did not complete. I can provide failed inspections from the city as well. This company is not professional or skilled . I do not want them working on my house at this point. They were given multiple chances and failed . I would like full refund for what they did or I will be filing a motion within 30 days.
