      Their product offerings are very good, but the customer service is totally useless. I received a damaged product and just asked for a credit on it. It took 3 people over 7 days who said to send a photo of the damaged product along with the order info to them, which I promptly did. Nothing came of any of my calls and e-mail to them. Each person just referred my message to the previous person I spoke to. I do not recommend buying from them at all. They just lie to their customers about helping but do not follow through and do not stand behind their products. From the other reviews noted here, it is no wonder folks are very dissatisfied with A.M. Leonard. This company does not even rate one star but unfortunately there is no lower choice.

      When we called to order a hand truck listed in their current magazine as item F22GP, the price quoted to us by the service representative was over $150 more than the printed price ($749 is what they told us, but it is listed in the magazine as $602). Not only that, but apparently our “discount code” (printed on the magazine) was expired. We just received it in the mail! This is not the first time this has happened. In fact, we have the same experience multiple times with this company. The magazine advertises one price, but the company doesn’t honor that price. This is false advertising.I have multiple magazines of theirs with the printed price in each.On multiple occasions when we have tried to order this item, their excuse is always that prices are subject to change or that the price listed in the magazine is a misprint.I am giving them a one star only because I can’t give them anything lower.

      I've ordered from AM Leonard a couple of times in the past with no problems. My most recent order unfortunately, there was a problem. One of the items I ordered was a package of connectors that linked bamboo poles together to make a trellis. The website stated a package of 8. I received a package of 6. I called to tell them what had happened and the lady I spoke with told me they are sold in packages of 6, but the website was not updated. She asked if it would be okay if they sent me an extra 2. I told her it would be and she stated she needed to get approval for that. A couple of days later, I was offered a refund if I wanted to send the item back. Unfortunately, I didn't respond timely, but when I did via email I stated I just wanted the 2 connectors. I ordered 8, I would like 8. At this time, it had been roughly 6 weeks from the time I first placed my order and the website STILL indicated the connectors came in packs of 8. I also brought this up in my email. A couple of hours later, they updated the website. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago and they have not contacted me nor have I received any connectors. While they did offer a refund if I sent them back as a solution, I believe they should have honored what their website had indicated at the time of my order (and for 6 weeks afterwards). I made the choice not to return because I need them. I chalked up my experience to "lesson learned" and will not be ordering from AM Leonard again.

      DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ONLINE. Order palm tree fertilizer, it never came. I called and they told me it showed delivered and I had to put in a claim with UPS. (note: the receiver can not put in a claim with ups, only the shipper) I told her this and ask to speak to her manager to get a replacement and I was told she would call me back. She didn't. I got an email stating A.M. Leonard did nothing wrong and they will not send me a replacement. And that is where I stand. No Money / No Fertilizer / No Online Store that Cares.

      Good Afternoon, As always we appreciate your feedback and any opportunity to make this situation right. You are absolutely correct in stating it is up to the shipper to file a claim when product is not delivered or lost in transit. Our Customer Support Manager Sharene, I believe spoke with you and shared you originally spoke with a new employee and were given incorrect information. We have since addressed this training issue and certainly apologize for that error. We also did request an investigation or driver follow up as UPS scanned the qty 2/50 lb. bags of fertilizer as delivered to your address. Currently, it is still in process. Based on the notes in your order, Sharene spoke with you to share that information however you had to take another call and offered to call her back. Her intention was to provide you with more detail at that time. As you well know based on your own carrier knowledge you shared, we cannot replace every package a carrier loses or destroys prior to knowing the claim outcome, as often claims are denied and we do not recoup the cost of product and shipping. We do however recognize your frustration of not having the product you ordered and paid for. In review of your order, I do see a replacement order #SO22107138 is being processed and will be shipped by end of business today. If by chance, the carrier locates your original shipment and delivers please just let us know. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for being a valued customer.
