December 6th 2023 paid $826 for a deposit. March 12th 2024 paid $826 to finalize payment for DJ services on 4-19-24. Charged $ 391 for travel expenses and service charge. Pd 3-15-24. Upon a emergency one week before the weeding The bride/groom could not meet via video to review their already submitted play list. The pipes burst in their home and they had emergency plumbing out along with electrical workers to deal with the issue. Upon reaching out to Hurricane Productions, Hunter Harrison they were told there would be a cancelation fee and then sent a email to the bride to be for $477 for their time. This was absurd! I then sent a email asking how in the world is this possible and I am not comfortable with this business trying to charge for all these fees. I expressed that I had no faith moving forward. On Saturday night 4-13-24 at 8pm we received a email that Hurricane Producation is canceling the date 4-19-24 for the wedding and that they would issue a refund in 30 days. This again is absurd. I asked for a refund within 10 days. It is now May 14th and they have, as expected NOt REFUNDED nor reached out in any way to refund the $2043 dollars. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. All emails and corresponds have been kept for documentation.

I originally was contacted by Hurricane Productions, LLC on Facebook after I made a posting looking for a quote for a music event that I was planning. I sent a Facebook Message to ****** ******** about what my event was about and he asked a few questions about the venue and artists. I provided answers to his questions and he said he would provide a quote the following week. I received a quote of over $100k which I was really confused about. I did not any agreements or agree to any terms from Hurricane Productions, LLC. I advised ****** ******** via e-mail that I appreciate his response but that amount was way out of my budget. I asked would there be a difference if the event was 1 day compared to 3 and he updated the quote to reflect over $75k. Still this was way over my anticipated budget and I advised I was still going through the process of getting final approval of artists and venue, but I wouldn’t have a final budget for our event until end of September. After speaking with 3 other production companies all three provided FREE quotes, answered my questions, and provided quotes all under $12k. I submitted a final email to all companies (4) I had been in contact to let them know our budget would be maxed at $12k, which 1 of the companies replied they couldn’t go under $12k. I continued to move forward with another company that only is charging $5,000 and I advised the other companies including Hurricane Productions, LLC we were going with another company. Hurricane Productions changed their estimate and stated they can now do the event for $12,000. I replied via e-mail that I was confused how we went from $100k estimate to now under $12k. Hurricane Productions sent me a bill for $4875.00 for resources of $62/hour to provide a quote. Once again, I was confused and asked why I was being charged for a quote? They said that’s their terms and conditions and now are threatening a law suit.

**** ***** (herein referred to as the “Customer”) expresses concerns to Hurricane Productions regarding an open invoice (INV-*********) from a service order which was requested by the Customer for an upcoming music festival. This matter was resolved by advising Mr. ***** he is responsible for the balance on the account.  Our collection efforts were activated and a lawsuit is currently being filed against the defendants. In regards to the customers complaints, The service order price dropped down to $12,000 due to the Customer’s request to minimize price. This ultimately changes the type of equipment and model numbers scheduled for such an event while lowering the quality of production equipment used. The customer, **** ***** was not quite understanding how the price dropped so much, we explained it as if the equipment has been changed to lower quality equipment to then lower the price of the event.  The Customer was advised of the charges associated with requesting a service order. Due to the amount of labor and resources used to complete their request, Hurricane Productions does not offer free quotes for large productions of this size. Additionally, the customer was advised to refer to our website for the full terms and conditions. We have attempted to communicate our terms, conditions and policies to the Customer several times.

As a result, Hurricane Productions is within is rights to fully collect on the amount will continue to attempt to collect the past-due balance(s) through legal action. A judgement will be entered against the defendant(s) (if one hasn't been already) to seize personal property and garnish wages to cover the balance(s).  As of December 26th, 2023, the balance is $6,270.00 which includes interest per the terms on our website. (link redacted)

Accordingly, there should be no additional or separate dispute(s) between the Customer and Hurricane Productions LLC or its officers.

I never accepted, signed, or completed any electronic submission form as claimed by Hurricane Productions, LLC. I did not complete any submission form on their website or have any knowledge of their terms and conditions. I was contacted by ****** ********, President of Hurricane Productions, LLC via "Facebook-messenger" in regard to obtaining a quote for a small event that was in the very early steps of preparation. ****** asked for information pertaining to the details of the event and he never made any reference to costs associated with preparing a quote. ****** referenced he received the information and said he would reach out in "a week or so" with a quote. I provided my email address as requested, which he provided an estimate of over $100,000. After several back and forth emails, I attempted to contact Hurricane Productions, LLC via telephone but they never did answer any of my phone calls or return my voicemails. They have made several statements and contacted collection agencies stating they will be filing a lawsuit for the amount which is currently at $6,270.00 from the original amount due of $4,800.00 on 09/25/2023. Their invoice shows 32 hours of labor at $150.00 to provide a quote for their services. I attempted to reach them via telephone, but my phone number was blocked by Hurricane Productions, LLC after I called requesting to speak with a representative. I called Hurricane Productions, LLC by blocking my phone number and I was able to leave another voicemail, but they did not return my phone calls. I contacted ****** ******** via "Facebook-messenger" regarding being charged for the quote and he did not return my message. I have not been provided any documentation that I completed any of their submission forms on-line that have the terms and conditions listed. If the form was completed it was not completed by myself or anyone associated with our event staff/family.
