I engaged Dubberts Professional Outdrive Service to perform repairs on my 1996 272 Commodore boat. My boat had a weak in the engine compartment and the service technician told me that the Sterling Pin was the cause of the leak. They recommended that I replace the Sterling Pin which I agreed based upon their findings. The cost of the repair was $1,600. After I paid the invoice in full, I took my boat and placed it in the water. The lead was worst than before. Double the amount of water came into the engine compartment. I took the boat back within the same year to Dubberts and I explained that the weak was still present and it is worst. I requested that they investigate the problem and repair the problem. I had them perform other services while the boat was at their shop. One of the additional service was to investigate and fix my outdrive from lowering. I received a call from Dubbert'ss explaining that my boat was ready to pick up. I immediately asked what about the leak which is the main reason that I brought the boat back up to their facility. They said that because they were so busy that they are not able to bring the boat to the water and investigate the leak. I decided to pick the boat up and let another boat service repair facility to evaluate the leak. Upon picking up my boat, I noticed that the outdrive was completely down. The repair technician said I wish you would have brought the boat in early so that we could have figured out what was wrong with the drive. The invoice which I just paid for prior to seeing the technician had the repair costs of fixing the outdrive issue. This is a classic form of Bait and Switch. This is a distrusting company who intentionally rips off their customers.

When Mr. ****** brought us his boat for regular maintenance and winterization at the end of September he mentioned that he is still experiencing some water leaking into the bilge.  Winterization and maintenance was completed however we were unable to find any leak.  Owner requested to have Regal put into the water to check for leak however with work load and staffing we were unable to complete this in the owners timeline.  We explained to him we could float in spring and the work would be covered under our warranty if it has anything to do with ********** parts or our labor. We have been in business since 1994 and are not going anywhere.

I took my 2003 Bayliner Trophy boat to Dubbert's Professional Outdrive for repairs. When I dropped the boat off on May 1st 2021 the company told me it would take 2-3 weeks before repairs would be complete. I called 4 weeks later and was told the boat had not been worked on yet. I then called every month for the next 3 months before I was told it was ready, the week of August 1st. I paid $1,228.85 for the work completed and was assured it was fixed but not ran on the lake or tested for running under boating conditions. I took it straight to the lake for a test run and the issues were exactly the same. I then took the boat back to Dubbert's for them to make it right. Two more months passed before I was called saying the boat was repaired again. The business charged me more money for repairs not completed the first time. The total was $608.64 I agreed to pay for parts, around $500.00, leaving the balance of technician labor of 1 hour. I was without my boat for nearly 5 months and lost a deal to sell the boat when it didn't run correctly in August. I would like your help for a complete refund of the $608.64 due to their unwillingness to negotiate with me.
