Good morning,
I would like to add this to my complaint about this breeder. This is the review I left on his business page that he has hidden from potential buyers.
I usually don't write reviews, but in this case, it's a must. This breeder was referred to me by my aunt. She said the owner was good with his dogs. That part seems to be true, but he's definitely not a good business owner. I placed a deposit down on September 15, 2023, for a puppy from Chicco and Emina . I specifically stated that I wanted to have the first male pick. No problem with the owner. After a few days of chatting, the contract was sent to me, and I completed it and sent it back. The deposit was sent. I was told to send the deposit via Venmo and send it as a "GIFT." This should've been a red flag. Again, my aunt vouched for him so I wasn’t too worried about it. A month or two later, I received a message stating that an "executive decision" had been made to add me to another breeding, DMX and Fiesta. I accepted it. I was shocked at first, but I agreed to it, red flag number two. I received updates here and there. The next thing I know, the breeding didn't go as planned. That was understandable on my part. However, I never saw a litter announcement on this page or his own personal page, which I found odd. Red flag number 3. So, I was added to the next planned breeding based on his words, which was Chicco and Emina, for the second time. I was told this litter was due on April 25, 2024.
On May 1st, I sent a message asking for the status. He stated she had not delivered any puppies as of yet. And once again, I never saw a litter announcement on this page or his personal page. And after further research, not on here either, So out of the blue on May 11th, I receive a message stating ONE GIRL JUST CAME OUT. I responded, asking if she had any males within minutes. Two days went by with no response. I forgot to mention that we communicated via FB messenger. This is when the light bulb went off in my head, the contract I signed had his phone number on it. I called, but there was no answer. I sent a text stating that I basically sent a message on FB messenger asking for status, and he responded with, he needs to upgrade his cell phone because he didn’t know I sent him a FB message. All of sudden, my FB messages weren’t being received on his end. Red flag number 5. So once again, excuses. No males, she had two females, and I have to add you to my next litter. So, from September 2023 up until now, I've only seen 1 breeding announcement, which was September 2023. The other two planned breeding’s that I was supposedly on I never saw an announcement, just his “word”.
The latest announcement with Bronx, this is the first breeding announcement I've seen since September 2023. I sent him a message asking since the old contract was for Chicco and Emina, shouldn’t we do a new contract for Bronx and Ema. I still haven’t received a response. The final straw was out of my hands. My wife is seriously ill. Due to this illness that my wife was diagnosed with on May 16th, I politely asked for my deposit back on May 17th. I called, no answer, I left a voicemail. He texted. Now there's an issue on his end, AGAIN. He stated he would call me back once he made it home from work . Today is May 20th, and I still haven't heard back from this owner. Terrible. Again, the deposit was for the breeding announcement in September 2023, which HE made an EXCUTIVE DECISION to remove me from (I didn't ask to be removed) and placed me on another planned breeding. Nowhere in the contract does it state the deposit is non-refundable. Almost a year later, still no puppy. Basically, a bunch of bull and lies were told. Time wasted and lesson learned.
