I used One Old Man and a Van when moving from Dublin to Delaware in September of 2022. During the move, they spilled liquid on my new couch and broke one of my TV's. I've texted with **** for many months since then, and he has repeatedly promised to reimburse me for my TV and to send out a professional cleaner for my couch. He has done neither of those things. He promised to pay me $350 for the TV and to pay for professional cleaning for my couch. I would like the cost of cleaning the couch, as well as the $350 for the TV. I have screenshots of our conversations, and pictures of the damage.Business response

We just received a message indicating a complaint (#********) and wanted to touch base. We were under the impression that a check had been cut in January for this. If that’s not the case, we want to resolve this issue immediately, and I apologize for the inconvenience. We obviously take our company and business seriously and would never want to leave a bad taste in your mouth after working with us. Please let me know how we can handle this issue and resolve the complaint as soon as possible? Thank you.

I have been paid for the TV, thank you. However, the huge spill on my couch has not been addressed. This was a very new couch, and they spilled liquid all over it. I had to buy a hand steam vacuum in order to clean it myself, after months of ignored requests. It cost me $89.99, which I would like reimbursed. I was reassured by the movers that they sent a picture of the damage to **** on the day of the move, and I was told that it would be professionally cleaned. **** himself said this would happen, I have attached a screenshot of his text. We have refunded you for the total cost of your Tv and the couch stain that you requested. Again, we apologize for the inconveniences this may have caused.
