  I received an estimate on 7/30/24 that included the following for step installation: Dig & install a small foundation (no foundation was dug & the bottom steps were installed on a dirt hill), spray sealer (Never completed, Install Steps/Lands (diff **************** pitch in various directions & crooked), Broom Finish (came back multiple times to smooth out rough edges & one corner still has a chunk of cement hanging off), & Debris Removal (left behind a bucket w/ dried cement, a broken broom, and PVC pieces & parts). SC took equipment from our property. After calling to report tools missing, they were eventually returned. Steps are very unsafe, bc theyre not uniform and the bottom step is 10.5. When we pointed out our concerns, SC came back to add another step & add more concrete. The new step was ill-shaped, cracked, & pitted. Its separating from the step above it. The steps along the house are cracking and pulling away from the house. The job was started on July 30 & after 10+ visits, the steps still arent done. Also, we advised SC NOT to bring heavy equipment onto our driveway. This directive was ignored resulting in a crack in our existing driveway. When *********washed, cement was rinsed down the street. leaving a trail of cement all the way to the storm drain. SC installed a crooked drain pipe & when we pointed it out, the owner argued incessantly. We insisted it be done correctly. **** started aggressively banging on the pipe to remove it. When we pointed out concerns on another visit, **** argued again. It was very confrontational & Im no longer comfortable having this company on my property. Weve afforded multiple opportunities to fix things, but the quality of work worsened. Due to the problems w/ the work & adding wet cement to dry, there inconsistencies in ************** is cracking in numerous places. We have concerns that the cement will continue to crack and separate. We've paid SC $2900. Link to pictures:****************************

We have been responsive to Mrs. ******** requests and our team has made all the necessary adjustments. We strive to maintain open and peaceful communication. Our company is known for providing excellent services, and we have numerous satisfied clients who can attest to this. Despite the several adjustments we made to our project with Ms. ******* we regret that she remains unsatisfied with our work. This has been a challenging experience for our team, and we have come to the decision that we are not comfortable having Ms. ****** as a client. Therefore, we agree with Ms. ******** request that she does not need to pay the remaining balance for the concrete project completed at her residence.

  I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint. I want to ensure that this complaint is visible to other potential clients so they can avoid a situation like ours in the future. The owner, ****, was very confrontational and our existing driveway was damaged. This was a horrible experience and were looking forward to moving on.
