On the evening of 11/21/23 we returned to our room with a temperature of 65 degrees. As the night progressed, the temperature continued to plummet into the 50's. My husband attempted to speak with a hotel staff member but when he went out to the front desk, no one was available. Upon check out on 11/22/23 I spoke with the associate about this and she stated to call and speak with the booking agent. I did contact Super.com and was told that the responsibility would be of the hotel. I called and spoke with a male associate who stated that several guests had expressed the same concern in the past two weeks and I then stated that makes sense because while on a smoke break outside of the hotel, my spouse had a conversation with an HVAC gentleman who stated they were working on the vents this exact evening (11/21/23) The associate then transferred the call to "Leanne" who stated the opposite regarding the responsibility of any refund and advised to call the booking agent (again) She also stated that "I didn't take your $ therefore I am not responsible for any refund" So, I did call the booking agent once again and was told the same - the responsibility was would be of the hotel. I then again called the hotel and spoke with Leanne again and she stated that when this type of situation had come up in the past, the booking agent initiated the call to start the process. When I explained that the booking agent stated that is not their policy and they could not do anything, Leanne replied the she wouldn't either.
