We booked ***** ******** to provide photography and video services for our wedding on October 7, 2023 in Novelty, OH. In December 2022, I put a $225 deposit down for his services. In March 2023 we flew to ********** ** to take our engagement photos that were part of the package. After about two months or so of having our engagement photos taken I reached out to ***** to see when we could see some of the photos and he responded that he thought he already sent the link. We got the link for our engagement photos on May 16, 2023. Then we came back to ********* in October for our wedding. We were quoted 4-6 weeks after our wedding to receive the files. I sent emails on 11/3/23, 11/21/23 to ***** asking for roughly when I would receive these files back with no response.I also sent him a text message on 11/9/23 and 1/11/24 asking the same questions with no response.Finally on 1/29/24 we received a response with a link to video files and an apology. If you visit the link he gave us you will see there are no images of the reception and only a few video clips of the reception. Many of the images are either blurry or not useable and not to mention missing half of the wedding. In some of the video clips you can see ***** taking photos, but you will also see none of those photos were provided to us. Last communication to ***** was on 1/31 asking for an image he had posted to his Facebook and Instagram accounts on 10/8/23 that had his logo on it.A similar image that's blurry and no one is looking at the camera was included in the link he sent us and to this day I have not received a response. My husband sent ***** an email on 2/8/24 asking for a partial refund and we have also not heard back from him. Out of good faith, I sent ***** a 20% gratuity on 10/9/23. I was originally asking for a partial refund, but the fact that he apologized and stopped responding is very hard to stomach especially when he was the only one there taking photos. I am asking for what is fair.
