We have used Monn's for many years and have never had an issue with them, until the last 3 years. They normally send a bill every 3 months, and it always costs me $48. But for the past few years, billing has been ridiculous. I didn't receive a bill for over 2 years, then in Dec of 2021 I received a bill for $560. I mailed them a check, but it took them about 2 months to cash it. During that time I got another bill for the basic $48, which I also mailed to them. Again, they waited about 2 months to cash it. Then once again, billing got behind, I didn't receive another bill til this month (Jan), for $179. Although I do appreciate the fact they have still been picking up my trash, this is no way to run a business. I've almost been overdrawn due to them not cashing my payments in a timely manner. And I am not the only one complaining about this. Other customers have complained about the same issue on social media, one person saying they received a bill for almost $900, another one was billed for over $800. I have tried calling them several times but can never get an answer. I understand issues come up, they are a family-owned business and I heard one of them had been ill. My complaint is not receiving my bills on time and them not cashing my payments on time.
