Business is charging my partne $100 cancellation fee for less than 24 hr cancellation due to medical emergency. I was in ER day before and have to be driven to doctor appointment (can't drive). They are penalizing us for this, which in my opinion is discriminatory in terms of ADA. I offered to send them documentation but they refused, saying there was another broken appointment. However, the last one was due to COVID exposure (we did the right thing and called it in instead of getting everyone sick), and this one due to a medical emergency. Mind boggling and unconscionable.
