Very poor customer service, all of the salesmen are stuck up and act better than the customer. Also they don’t seem to care about younger customers I’m guessing just assuming we don’t have money to spend. Went in with 20k in cash was ignored to the point I walked out and went and bought my machine elsewhere. I wouldn’t even make this review if it wasn’t for this situation happening over and over again everytime I go there. And I won’t even get started on the finance department. I would just avoid this place at all costs unless you know someone who works there and you’ll get friendly service.Ride 1 Powersports Response

I am so sorry to hear this complaint about our employees. We hire based on a person's attitude and personality with a focus on customer service before anything else. We feel that we can teach a person the skills they need for the job. But we can't teach them to be a good person and respect others. As you know I don't recognize your name however, I do recognize another name mentioned in your complaint. We are a "middle man" for any financing needs our customer may have. We make every effort to gain financing for our customers as we don't make a profit until we sell our products. We spend our money upfront to try to acquire financing for someone. We never ask for fees to do this as we hope to sell you one of the units we have. Please don't blame us for not being able to gain financing for you. It does upset us that you had the cash to buy something and chose to buy somewhere else after all the efforts our sales and finance departments had put forth for you. Respectfully submitted.Review from Josh. K.

I purchased an ATV from there about a month ago. I went back in 4 days later asking to trade it in. They offered me half what i paid. It had only been rode once. I posted a bad google review . The sales manager then started calling me so i went in an hgad a conversation and told him it hadn't even been rode but once and i only put 12 miles on it. It had 8 miles on it at purchase. I told him i just didn't like it. He offered to give me more trade value if i spent more money. I told him id think about it. But he said id have to take my review down. I did not so he got on there and posted a response blatantly lying about our conversation. saying i told him the transmission was bad and i let everyone in the neighborhood ride it and ride it hard. Why would i say that if im trying to trade it back in? He made up lies to make the bad review not seem so bad since i wouldn't take it down. And if it had a bad transmission that means it had a bad transmission when they sold it to me. Their own staff told me they do this to everyone. Once you walk out the door they do whatever it takes to not have to make things right with you regardless if they sold you bad equipment or not. Then they try to bribe you into changing your reviews online if they are negative reviews. They have terrible business practices.Ride 1 Powersports Response

Hi Josh, I know people sometimes buy something they don't like and we try to work it out with them and get them on a unit they would like. I'm sorry that didn't work out for you at that time. I do know efforts were made internally to stop the deal after we found out you didn't like the unit. It was too late. We had already reported the unit sold to Kawasaki. Please consider coming and talking to me personally about this so we can resolve it. Or call me at (937) 323-0513. Shawn Bowshier ownerCustomer Response

I appreciate the owner responding. But, your going off information you received from your sales manager. I was told it was the BMV that had been notified which made it too late. Which was a lie because i called them. Were talking about 3 days after i purchased it. and two of those days you were closed. So i returned the next day techi=nically. Your sales manager wanted me to take down my bad google review is what the case is. Im entitled to my opinion. But i would have taken it down but he got impatient and posted a response with bold face lies to try to make it look better for him. Saying i told him the transmission was bad, that i let everybody in the neighborhood ride the ATV and ride it hard. I put 12 miles on it between me and my brother riding it once, 12 miles( it had 8 miles on it when i bought it). So that tells you how much i had actually even rode it. You guys almost put more miles on it moving it around the store than i did! And there's nothing wrong with the transmission. I actually like it now that ive rode it more. I still should have been given the option to return it based on how quick i came back and that i hadn't even really used it. Or at least been offered a fair trade in value when it was only 3 days old. And i shouldn't have been lied to or had shady salesman tactics used on me. I would have spent ALOT more money with you guys but doubt ill ever come back in. And i know who you are, who Chad is, your sales guy, who Tammie is. I know alot of people in this city. And know what goes on there. You should treat your customers better.Review from Matan B

Ride 1 Powersports (formally Competition Accessories) has been in business in this location since 1992. We strive hard to maintain a good reputation with our customers by giving them exceptional service. This time of year our service department gets backed up. We made this appointment for Matan B*** for a scheduled basic service and to look again at a vibration he claims to feel when riding an off road unit with off road tires on an asphalt surface. We asked Mr. B*** to bring his new unit in so that we could determine immediately if there was a problem. We could not duplicate the issue. The service manager only called Mr. B*** to inquire if he still wanted to keep his appointment after stating on social media that he would never "do do business with our store again". “If you not delet this review you apt is CANCEL” is not what was conversed with Mr. B***. The appointment is still in place.
