TJ the owner did not grind our ***** and the roots as promised. He also told us he would fix the yard indentations and plant grass. He even sent this by text. We just want him to complete the contract and finish the job as promised.Business response

The contract was for a large silver maple removal and the ***** grinding. The homeowner was worried about her lawn so I told her their would be lawn indentations but that could be easily fixed because we are landscapers. I never once implied we would clean the ***** up for free or the lawn indentations for free. That would be an additional contract for additional labor & material. I made 2 separate visits with a rental ***** grinder making sure I ground the ***** and roots below ground level. This is a ***** grinder not an auger , it is meant eat the surface of the ***** of the ground not under ground. They were extremely rude, demanding and expecting way more then any small business couldve provided for them and talked to me in ways that didnt deserve the extra work for free that I mightve done for another customer. I told them I went in the hole already and under bided myself, which they knew because the next quote was almost $1k more then mine and they simply dont care. I would never work for them again and I have been waiting for this dispute. At the end of the day I took this as a learning ****** to work on my communication before entering a work agreement & new contracts that help better explain everything. This was my first year in business and Ive been doing tree work for years, I never meant someone who thought the ***** grinding cleanup would be apart of the tree removal and ***** grinding for free because I said we could help with lawn indentations. That means from a branch impacting the ground from 50ft up and making a yard dent. Thats a lawn indentations, but expanding me to do $500 worth of work for free is ridiculous. I even had to clean the ***** up one time for free just so I could use the ***** grinder a second time ! And the only reason I even came back with a ***** grinder a second time was to avoid all of this after I got into an argument with the homeowner then I felt bad.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Mr ******* didn't finish the stump grinding. We paid him more than his quote for $2450 we paid $ 2550. We saved him a day.of labor as my neighbor took the large stump and some extra wood. He was angry and threatened us with a law suit. You can ask his workers who observed his screaming at us. He told us it was our wood. He told us he would fix the lawn, fill in with dirt and grass seed. We're landscapers and I want my customers happy. Just finish grinding the stump.
