purchased home with understanding lawn to be installed asap, have been in home 3 plus weeks with no definite timeline for work to be completed. Other homeowners facing similar issue. Paying $130 / mo. for lawn service but no lawn exists?Business response

To whom it may concern:
We did Communicate directly with Mr, ***** directly on the the 19th of July (see below) We informed him of the schedule of Lawns/Irrigation and hydroseeding. His Association dues are not part of the Home build and are clearly spelled out in documents he recieved stating he becomes a member of the association upon taking ownership of the home. As of the time me writing this response work has commenced in this development and on his home.

I did speak with ***** again on this issue. He cannot make an exception to the policy of when association dues commence. To be fair and equitable to all residents he needs to be consistent.
I am truly sorry to hear you feel alienated in any way, that is not the intent I can assure you.
Landscaping, Irrigation and Hydroseeding will be done in order of the house closings and you are on that list. We will do everything we can to get it done in a timely fashion.

***, I apologize ahead of time for this email. Spoke with your HOA rep. yesterday regarding bill for June lawn fee ($130), Received 5 days after moving in, I stated I don't intend to honor statement for obvious reasons. She was less than receptive. actually rude. I know I'm new to concept of HOAs however I can't get past idea of paying for service NOT being provided it's not in my DNA. I'm willing to compromise & pay 3rd quarter fee, even though I won't need lawn service well into August. Please understand its' not about the money but the principle. Personally, I don't think fees should begin until home is finished. ****
