I purchased a used vehicle from Dave White Acura and also purchased a vehicle service contract. In May 2023, I decided to cancel the VSC, so I went to the dealership and met with Finance Specialist who walked me through the cancellation process. She told me that I would be receiving 65.24% of the Retail Cost, which was $1,828.70. That was acceptable to me, so I signed the cancellation form. The refund check I received was only for $1,176.30, which is 65.24% of the dealership's contract cost, not what I paid. I went back to the dealership to talk to the Finance Specialist and she claimed she had no idea why I didn't get the full refund and said it comes from the home office. She said she called the office and Smart AutoCare and said they said that the rest of the refund would come from Smart AutoCare, but it was "still pending". After waiting several months, I called Smart AutoCare and they said they do not issue refunds; that all refunds come from the dealership. I have left several voicemails for the Finance Specialist, but she will not return my call. I am still owed $652.40.Customer response
