I hired *** to replace 2 doors, 1 window, and a small section of floor. He quoted me $1700 and I hired him. He started the project about a month later than anticipated, but that was ok. It was discussed that the project be done in 2 stages. He didnt do the work in the order discussed but I let that go. On the sliding patio door the siding j-channel is not secure, the door is not level, and the striker plate was not adjusted. The trim around the door is damaged. In the window he replaced, the aluminum cap on the outside is damaged and the trim on the inside of the window is also damaged with nails sticking out. The other door he replaced would not latch and you could see daylight all around it. The trim was so badly destroyed they didnt even attempt to attach it. *** reached out to me and said he would come back and replace the damaged trim and fix the other issues ( all documented in text messages). After 2 months of trying to contact him to fix my door the wouldnt latch ( I couldnt lock you house for 2 month) I had to take the door out and reinstall it properly myself. I have been more than lenient and fair with ***. He was paid in full and he took my money and ran. I have pictures and text messages of all of this and this lack of craftsmanship and bad business would not be acceptable to anyones standards. Hes very dishonest and Im way further behind because Im hired him. He did more damage than good. *** will no longer return my calls or Text messages. He did not complete the work he was paid for. Id like him to either finish the job and make it right, or refund my money. Unfortunately I already had to replace a door that he installed and made dis functional. I feel I should be reimbursed for that.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
***, reached out to me and expressed he wanted to fix the issues but needed some time due to family emergency. I gave him time. He reached back out and scheduled to come out to complete the work July 30th. On the morning of july 30th I received a text from him saying he could not make it due to someone damaging his trailer. It is now August 9th (10 days later) and I have not heard from him since in regards to rescheduling. The work was started April 9th. Ive been waiting 4 months to get this resolved.
