We were billed for services rendered in April, 2022 at **** ******* ***** in ******. We moved to ************ **** in December 2022. I instructed a worker in the fall that we would no longer require services since we would be moving in December. A bill for services was sent in March and I called to inform the company that we had moved. We again received an invoice for April for $177.79. After receiving this bill I called on May 11, 2023. I was told we responsible for the services rendered on 4/7/23 and 4/18/23. I don’t think we should pay for services that we didn’t request.Business response

Please see email that was sent to ***** **********, ***** **********s's husband. To date we have received no reply.
Mr. **********,
Please look at your wife's phone. It is obvious she communicated with WiseGuys Lawn via text. Kindly note that there is NO text canceling service. I am 100% positive that if you research calls made on her phone last fall as she states, you will find no call to WiseGuys Lawn. In addition there are no records of emails. We are diligent in canceling services if
requested.
A leaf clean up was done in the fall which was paid in February. Why would you pay for a leaf clean up if services were cancelled?
The balance on the account is $ 237.05. We are always open to settling out of small claims court. Please let us know your thoughts.
