******* ******/Aardvark Painting was contracted Jan. 2023. Began working April 2023. Has been paid contract amt. in full and paid for additional repairs. In five months, ****** has not completed work specified in contract. ****** has failed to appear to work after verbal agreement to show up. ****** continues to ask for more and more money even though he has not completed work for which he has been paid.Business response

On September 19th I arrived at ******** home to work on the exterior and garage service door was locked.
My equipment, tools, ladders and stain was locked inside garage so I could not perform any work.
I contacted ******** attorney who advised me that I could leave and that he would contact ******** and forward me a timeline to finish the work.
After many emails from ******** thru her attorney, it has been agreed that I would be able to continue working on the exterior and interior work on October 10th at 10:00 am and a continuing schedule thru November 3rd to complete the job
I will arrive on October 10th and will work this schedule to complete the job on or before November 3rd, 2023 - Weather permitting
**** **** ******** does not owe ******* ****** any balance when the job is completed. She is paid in full.

****** began working on my house April 2023. He was paid excessively above contract price. ****** stopped work on my property mid August leaving it with 12 boarded windows, exterior portions not painted or repaired and ladders in the yard and on the roof. ****** then attempted to extort more money from this senior citizen to finish job. After I retained the services of an attorney, ****** agreed to finish the work to avoid further litigation. It is imperative that the BBB notes this is not how a reputable business operates. Whether ****** does in fact complete all work satisfactorily is yet to be ascertained. I will contact the BBB again should ****** not complete work by agreed date in November 2023.
