I signed a contract with this company on April 19, 2024. As of today they have not taken my tree down, now have they scheduled me to take it down. I have had 5 scheduled days since signing my contract. Two were rescheduled because of weather. One was rescheduled because the business had a family emergency. The other two dates have been a no call no show by the business. I have a trail of emails, texts, and voice calls that I can submit to confirm this. The only communication I get as of now is nothing. If I reach out I get the excuse they are trying to get me scheduled but they are booked 2 months out. I would think as a good business practice you would take care of your "no call no shows" first. I am a single 60 year old female who lives alone. I have rearranged my work schedule numerous times - only to have them cancel or not show up. I have a copy of my signed contract to perform the work.Business response

She waited so long to contact us back to let us know she wants to move forward. The price has changed since we were not contacted within the time frame. We don't have access to the tree.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: this is an outright lie. I have emails and text messages for 5 different days they scheduled to be at my house. They never showed or called. 1 time was for windy conditions and 1 time was for a ***'s family emergency. I always corresponded with the utmost flexibility, respect and patience with them. My last communication was text messages on June 12th. Just a couple days before I filed this complaint. She stated she was trying to get me scheduled again on Monday June 17th. I stated "see you on Monday???" Then she told me how busy she is. Then I get to read on the numerous posts on their Facebook page how they are currently scheduling for the current weeks. I made a comment and asked when they were going to schedule me. It was deleted by them.At this point, I do not do business with liars. And I certainly will not give my money to this business. Its too bad. All I kept asking her is: Just communicate with me.
AND THEY DO HAVE ACCESS TO MY BACKYARD. I MADE SURE TO MOVE THINGS AROUND SO THEY COULD DRIVE THEIR TRUCK RIGHT UP TO THE TREE. MR. ***** *** TOLD ME HE WOULD BE AT MY HOUSE ON FRIDAY JUNE 7TH TO LOOK TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS GOOD FOR MY APPT ON SATURDAY JUNE 8TH- BUT HE NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED ME.

This business came and did a estimate on a tree I needed cut down. They bid it the lowest out of all the contractors. So we scheduled a date and they decided to not show up not once, not twice, but three times I tried to schedule with them. Then when they finally came out they wanted more than double the original estimate. They claimed that they did not see how much tree and obstacles there was the first time they gave me an estimate. Although nothing changed about the tree nor did it grow any bigger. Very dishonest through the whole process.Business response

We called and rescheduled a time to go out and assess the tree, the tree was missing half of the base and was old so we had to rent the equipment to take down the tree and neither time was he there that we went out so we could explain why the estimate was changing also the tree is between 2 sets of power lines which made it incredibly dangerous, he was upset because of the price!Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Nothing changed about the tree when they gave me the original bid. The power lines were there when the original bid was assessed as well as the base of the tree. When I asked if power lines were a issue the owner showed me a tattoo of a line man on his chest and said the power lines were no issue. The first date we had scheduled was a two weeks out from original estimate and they did not show. Then we scheduled for August 17th and again they did not show again. Nor called before hand and told me they were unable to make it. Then we scheduled for the 29th at 9 am and they didn’t show up until 2pm. I am upset because the dishonesty of the owners of this company.

First of all we give 10 days from the original bid and the 10 days was over before he contacted us back, when he did contact us we went out and reassessed the tree and noticed there was more damage then we originally seen and the owner was not happy with the quote so he told us he had another company that was willing to do it at a cheaper price!Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I messaged them the day after the bid saying that I would move forward with you guys. Attached to this message will be the bid sheet and the messages with dates proving that I messaged them the day after. These people are dishonest and need to be held accountable and did not even show up until 2 months after they put in bid as I waited patiently. Just for them to double their bid. I have never had to deal with anything like this from a company that is accredited by the BBB.

The bid was signed saying he received the bid but was never signed off to do the work, I would rather him go with the other company he said he had to do the work because there’s more damage then we assessed and we will lose money on the job! Thank youCustomer response
