Back in MARCH 3,2023 i had Abe's Auto do some work on my truck brakes and rotors front and back did not need back rotors they also installed a fuel pump at that time in which i paid 900 cash.i had to put my truck back in the shop in 10-4-2023 at that time i was hearing noise and it felt like i needed brakes at that time they installed a water pump ****** cash. the man that day told me i had to find my reciept before he would do anything took me a little but i found it took it in like they said 6-20-2024. Around 9am i asked if i had a warranty on my break pads once again he said well look at it i said dont do no work if the pads arent covered let me know so i can get the money to fix it he said ok. i get a call at 1pm telling me your pads were covered but we decided to upgrade them. and you need 123 to pay for the brakes. i said why would you upgrade them instead of putting the same break pads on there. he the other gentleman said if i would of been here i wouldnt have let you leave your truck your broke. i also had called the police before i even went back to get my truck incase of altercation. i need to go back a minute he the other gentleman i got this call at 1pm he told me im putting your old brakes on and come get my truck in 2 hours i said no im on my way i arrived 1;05 called 911 andthen i went in.then as im leaving i said im going to file a complaint *** ***** *** **** **** ****As long as i have been going to this shop i never paid for them just to look and tell me whats wrong i always tell them what is wrong they tell me a price and i set up date to get it fixed.Business response

I went to this place on the strength of my mom because she did business with them before. I was late a few times on my payments but they still worked with me. I recently dropped 2000 off on my truck which left a little over 800 left in my payments. My current payments are up to date and another payment wasnt due until August. I got pulled over in april which caused the truck to get towed. I was left to pay a tow fee (which I stated I had when I called to get my truck back. They have been hanging up on me and my mom when we called in to see about my vehicle. They have been really rude to myself and my mom. I went up there today 6/16/2022 in person to see what the matter about my truck was. Now there telling me my engine blew on my truck they had all my belongings in a garage bag along with my license plate. But I'm still current on my contract because I'm up to date in my payments. I was told he couldn't do anything for me until his boss gets back from out of town which would be tomorrow 6/17/2022. I've been calling myself and my mom to discuss this issue with my truck since it got towed. The people at abes has been giving me the run around about my truck for months outside of the tow fee. Now out of nowhere it's all these things that's wrong with my truck that wasnt wrong with it before it got towed. I honestly dont wanna do business with them anymore. I would like the remaining of my money sent back to me from my payments. I don't feel it's fair I'm without a working vehicle and to be broke. I only owe 800 if not a little more left on my truck before it would have been mine. Now all of a sudden my payments are almost back being due and now it's all this mysterious stuff goin on with the truck that wasnt happening before it got back in there possession. I would like my money back since I'm being forced to be without a vehicle that they never called and told me about in the first place. I had to reach out to them after being hung up on a few times just to hear this.Business response

AS to the above mentioned complaint, *** ******* received a refund from Abe's Auto Sales on June 20, 2022. At that time, both parties involved were satisfied as to the outcome of this matter.
