I took the Nurse Practitioner Exam in **** **** on January 4, 2022. I was on question 32 when the internet went down. I was not able to complete the exam because of the outage. I was told I could reschedule right away because I already have a job offer. I have been getting nothing but the runaround and haven't been able to reschedule and my job is supposed to begin in **** on February 22nd. I keep being told that the internet problem was not documented so I **** have to keep waiting until this issue is resolved. They tell me it **** be resolved in 3 days, next week, next month, etc. With the shortage of medical professionals this is ridiculous. Please hold the NP Board Examiners accountable for their failure to correct this issue so I can be rescheduled this week to take my exam. I should not be punished for technical issues that should be resolved and documented. Thank you! Also, the examiner at the **** **** test site is the rudest person I have ever come across. She is not helpful and is NOT customer oriented. Please send her to training or replace her. She is unprofessional!Business response

Dear Better Business Bureau:
I am writing to you in regards to your recent correspondence concerning case # ********: ***** *******. I have looked into the case carefully, considering the statements that Ms. *******. stated in her complaint. The resolution that she is requesting is unclear. If the candidate has an issue with the "NP Board Examiners" or the ACNPC-AG Adult Gerontology Board, this is the entity that she needs to contact. Brainseed Testing Center is a testing site only which has no control or involvement on scheduling or approvals to test.
There were internet issues on January 19, 2022 which is the day that this candidate was scheduled to test. PSI has set policies and procedures for technical issues. These policies were followed that particular day by the test administrator. Apologies were given to all candidates due to the unforeseen technical issues. An incident report was sent in the same day to PSI , detailing the technical issues that were involved. The responsibility of rescheduling is then given to the individual candidate. Any issues with rescheduling is left with the individual candidate, not Brainseed Testing Center.
The test administrator was polite and helpful. Sincere apologies were given to all candidates for the inconveniences of the technical issues and was referred to PSI for rescheduling concerns.
This candidate called Brainseed Testing Center about the alleged failure for her sponsor to reschedule her exam. She was yelling and screaming at the test administrator, stating that "governor and her lawyer are getting involved". Again, this is a matter for her sponsor to handle, not the Brainseed Testing Center.
Temperatures in testing site met the temperature requirements.
I am sorry for any inconveniences that the candidate had.

I went to this testing center to take an exam and to say the lady working was rude and unfriendly is an understatement. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but based on the other 20 - 1 star google reviews, it was not a one off day for her. I was never informed that you're not allowed to wear a hooded sweatshirt during the test so I was forced to take it off. It was so freezing cold in the building that I couldn't take it and had to leave without taking the test. The lady told me I would only have to pay a small fee to retake it but that was not true. I decided to take the test at a different center because I couldn't bring myself to go back. It was a total waste of $225.00 that I had to also pay at the other testing center. I would like to get a refund because I didn't end up getting anything for what I paid. I did not take the test due to the extremely poor service and the condition of the facility. They haven't done anything to make it right so far.Business response

Unfortunately, I have to refuse the request for the refund of services and exam on the following grounds: Candidate Bulletin Information that each candidate receives states: "Examination Fee: $225 EXAMINATION FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE. CANCELING AN EXAMINATION APPOINTMENT You may cancel and reschedule an examination appointment without forfeiting your fee if your cancellation notice is received 2 days before the scheduled examination date. For example, for a Wednesday appointment, the cancellation notice would need to be received on the previous Monday. You may call PSI at (800) 733-9267 in order to cancel and reschedule your appointment. Note: A voice mail message is not an acceptable form of cancellation. Please use the PSI website or call PSI and speak directly to a Customer Service Representative. MISSED APPOINTMENT OR LATE CANCELLATION Your registration will be invalid, you will not be able to take the examination as scheduled, and you will forfeit your examination fee, if you: Do not cancel your appointment 2 days before the schedule examination date; Do not appear for your examination appointment; Arrive after examination start time; Do not present proper identification when you arrive for exam.
