      Had a new couch delivered from the Cleveland furniture company the day after Thanksgiving. It had a large black spot on the back of the couch arm and damage to the frame . Delivery men took a picture of the damage and would not take it back. Said "oh that can be fixed.". My fault. I should have had them take it back. Well a repairman came and fixed part of it and said he had to order parts and blah blah blah. I spoke with a nice lady in the repair department. I think her name was ******. She attempted to have the manufacturer take the couch back but they refused. She said they ship these couches on top of each other and damage can happen. Is it common practice to have a brand new couch delivered to your home with damage and you're supposed to keep it?? She was going to have the repair man come back to fix the couch but I have not heard back from them.I'm just so sad that I bought a brand new couch + it's damaged. I feel like a fool that I accepted delivery of this couch in the first place. Will never go back to that company again or recommend it.I would give the company zero Stars.

      We are aware of the situation. On 12/11/23 our service department repaired the frame and ordered new fabric as well. The new fabric is in house and we have been contacting the customer to arrange a time to repair the sofa. We will continue to reach out to the customer to resolve the situation.

      Bought 2 ************* recliner from them in October 2021 and purchased the 5 year extended warranty through them. The stitching is coming apart on all 3 *********** filed a claim with the company that we purchased the warranty from with no response. When we contacted Cleveland Furniture they told us they couldn't help us, that it was the responsibility of the extended warranty company to resolve the issue.When you spend over $5,000 for furniture, you would think they would help to get the issue resolve.They seem like they don't want our business anymore.

      We have contacted the customer. The customer was confused. He though he registered a complaint with the warranty company and not with our company. We told him that we are there to help and get the issue resolved to his satisfaction. We will 1. Contact the warranty company on his behalf and help expedite the claim and 2. Send our own service tech to his house to repair what we are capable of repairing. We will assure that this customer will be satisfied.

      The Cleveland Furniture Company was not responsible for the complaint, I sent it in error. The Cleveland Furniture Company is going to great extremes in helping resolve the issue with the warranty company

      If I can give a zero for my experience with this furniture company, I will do that. I don't think I will recommend them to any of my colleagues or buy any furniture from them. Their delivery people scheduled my delivery when I specifically(clearly) informed them I will be at work before buying the items and tried to delivery it when I was at work. They never even call you when they are driving to do the delivery on the delivery day. They will just call you 5 minutes that they will be at your house. When i called to cancel my order, they started to make fun of me and told me they will charge me a restocking fee. How will you charge a restocking fee when i don't even have the product. The lady then later told me they will charge me 25% fee associated for me not canceling within 48 hours. You only cancel something you purchased if the order party do not honor their part of the deal. When I told them I will be calling my bank, she then threatens me about taking me to small loan court to take the 25% charge. Don't buy from them because they are terrible company. Also, when I called them, the man who picked up the phone made fun of me and threaten me that they will charge me restocking fee and was unprofessional and kept making mockery of me. I will not recommend this people, they are very unprofessional.

      We arranged a delivery date with the customer. We called to let them know we were arriving. The customer was not home and could not take delivery. We offered to deliver at a date of the customer's choosing. The customer, for some reason, decided to cancel the order. We stand ready to deliver the product when the customer wants it delivered. If the customer confirms the cancel then we will honor the cancellation clauses in the contract.

      This is the same company that has been very disrespectful to me as a customer. They made fun of me everytime I spoke to them. I did not want to have anything to do with this organization that are rude to their client. Thank you, I wont be visiting this furniture place anymore and they are a lot of untrustworthy people working there. Especially ****. Also they pushed back because I refuse to deal with their behavior and decided to cancel it since I didnt want to deal with them anymore.

      I had a stroke in 2017...partially paralyzed with my left extremities,, but normal with my right ones.Unfortunately, I had aphasia (right brain dead) and would sponteously say almost anything including swear words, but I would NEVER be violent or get into it physically.*****, 62, was about 5' 10" and around 180 lbs. ******** 23, was 6'3" and 260+ lbs.***** threatened me by holding my left t-shirt and was almost 2" from my face (fear, threatening with eyes right at me)and had his left hand clenched and over his head ready to hit **** told him to let go 2 times or more, but he didn't budge and was getting ready to hit me. So, my life was being threatened so I hit my right hand into his ribs and he went down. That's when ******* suckerpunched my face and hit me multiple times into my left backside ribs (broken or cracked).***** went up and wanted to fight me again, but I was not going into it with ******* at his side and my face was bleeding and my ribs hurt.As a warning, don't buy anything from CLE Furniture Company. ***** and ******* will be delivering and both of them could get into another fight...or kill a customer.
